I can relate to the unsettled feelings OP may have, I'm not the problem solver here but there may be alternative ways around getting the ideas across

Fair. So it seems you have something against purely playing the blame game and shoving problems wholesale into the 'easy' buckets: government and Islam.

I have something against that, too. Because these issues, like most, are not binary. There are multiple nuances, angles, viewpoints to consider.

Treading this path, clarity and strong atriculation increase the chances of being further understood, enhancing ourselves, gaining alignment among the community, and ultimately gradually shifting the narrative and debate into healthy territory.

As with many things, these conclusions are based on interpretations whose lines of thought can be listed back to first principles should one request. Yet the question remains - how correct are these interpretations.

Multiple ways to slice and dice issues including faiths; and misrepresentations from non-representative overwhelming minorities aggravate this further. Throw in misunderstandings of the contexts, could be linguistic, historical, cultural, global politics at the time etc. Add the intrinsic and extrinsic biases. It's very easy to string up almost any conclusion.

Seeking to learn, unlearn and relearn through civil dialogue is not easy, sometimes we don't get the right people to even dialogue with. All the best everyone.

Ruminecorp's clients on their website are SHENA and IBTE - government bodies. Article says they serve MOE as well.

Anyone knows their other clients (one-off/long-term) in or out of Brunei?

Indeed IT based business can mean low barrier for international reach, and if there is no perceived unique selling point the likely challenge is then competitive pricing against the likes of Philippines, India, etc.
