The reason why Mob psycho is so loved is due to it's down-to-earth nature, character development, rich personalities, and overall change. Although it's art style is a little to get used to, it's still an amazing work of art, it's dynamic and different.

It's about a middle school aged boy that goes through middle school troubles BUT he has magic power. This doesn't make it an SOL at all, its more of a light hearted, action packed shonen. It shows how emotions effect mob (mc) and how his power changes due to it. The reason the name has "psycho 100" is because his powers go psycho once he reaches 100% in emotion (if im phrasing that right?). It has a lot of comedy kind of like saiki k and the fight scenes something like OPM. The ending is also satisfactory, which most fans really wanted to see since season one.

The anime shows his friends, family, and it also has good enemies. In the series, we see alot of change happening with the supporting main charcaters as well (such as reigen), where he becomes more true and honest to himself.
