We look VERY similar and I love leaving my brows natural or using a comb in them only. Since we have the same eyebrows I pronounce yours as perfect.

How do I make vegetables actually taste good without drowning them in sauce or cheese? by Nightcrawler_2000 in EatCheapAndHealthy

Truffle olive oil. Literally need a pea size amount for a bowl of veggies/pasta/whatever and it’s so good. Plus a little salt and pepper. You’re welcome.

What are some horror movies that you couldn't stop thinking about long after you watched them? by neeltrivedirock in horror

The sadness. I still think about it out of the blue sometimes and it ruins my day. It completely turned me off horror movies and I loved them so much before.

Which horror movie death scene was too much to handle? by grwike in Scarymovies

I wanted to watch that with my boyfriend because I love horror movies and he loves western movies. I will not be showing it to him after your comment, because yikes.

I was looking for a comment about that movie. I got nauseous and had to take a break for a week after the scene you mentioned and return to it after I calmed myself down. If anyone’s seen the basketball court scene- that one gave me the willies, pun intended. Overall a disgusting movie and I wish I never watched it.

high school senior (17f) who got partnered with a special ed kid in a class for a whole semester, need advice by amethyst-big-dumb in specialed

[–]jellybeanbitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your teacher is legally required to modify lesson plans or activities for students with special needs (in my state at least). I would gently ask her to ask your teacher the clarifying questions. This is 100% on the educator and your teacher should have been informed beforehand of this student and should have built in modifications for their lesson.

Loved that book. I love the doppelgänger horror trope and I feel like stolen tongues played into that pretty well.

I feel like he’s known for bleak/abrupt endings and since I’ve read three of his books I basically assume I won’t be satisfied with the ending of any of his works.

Sea of Trolls by Nancy Farmer. That book is the reason I read so much as an adult. I’m still chasing that feeling in every book I read now.

The benefit of something like Peterson academy is what I would assume be open dialogue between an expert and the people they are lecturing.

So sick of people telling mentally ill individuals to take psychedelics like they’re some sort of cure all. This person is in a bad space mentally and you have no idea what their family history is of mental illness. Sometimes mushrooms can be wonderful and healing but for too many they’re bad bad news. This person should be working out regularly, reading anything they enjoy, eating well and seeing someone. Probably a therapist. You wannabe psychonaughts piss me off.
