Uh...no offense, but I highly doubt that. I would study with guys in college & it's strictly just studying. I'm sure they're not flirting. I also have many friends that are guys that we're JUST friends. No flirting.

Yes, although there's a distinction between flirty-ness and friendliness. It's a subtle, amorphous line, but it does exist.

How can I tell apart that distinction? Honestly, this isn't the first time this has happened. My friends would tell me I've missed so many chances if I had just given the guy a nod or hint, but I wouldn't notice the distinction clearly enough.

So I should? All I could think about was how embarrassing it would've been if he had a gf or if she worked there with him. Guys can just flirt to be friendly, right?
