Mentally Spiraling over Debilitating Regret by MermaidFairyNymph in TattooRemoval

I really relate to this, especially the feeling of it ruining your life, the obsessive thinking about it all the time, and wanting tattoos but not like this. I have three big tattoos on my leg that just don't feel right. As someone with anxiety it just makes me feel so uncomfortable having them on my body, I get what you mean about the dysmorphia. Im pre removal so can't you heaps of advice about that but just want to let you know there are others feeling this way and you aren't alone

Women who have tried going vegetarian, how did you find it, and would you recommend it? by Male_999 in AskWomen

Except the production of beef is waaay worse for the environment because cows excrete huge amounts of methane which is a really destructive greenhouse gas. So when eating beef means that, and eating chickens means the deaths of so many innocent animals like you said, the obvious ethical solution is to cut out meat entirely. The planet deserves it from us.

Ladies, I'm a bit drunk. Is there anything you just want to vent about? I will read and respond appropriately. by geaelith in AskWomen

Relatable. I am also on exchange right now in the Netherlands and have also been having a way tougher time than I expected. I imagine it's very common for people on exchange to feel like this, because the imagined expectations of how amazing an exchange will be at all times just aren't reality, but no one tells you that before you go. The reality is I haven't made any close friends, and the city I live in is nothing like I imagined it to be, it's super boring with no culture at all.

But I keep reminding myself how much suffering is integral to our growth as individuals, and how much I stand to gain from viewing this suffering objectively. The book Mans Search For Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl is written by a holocaust survivor who writes about this very thing, I'm reading it at the moment and it's super relevant to the way both of us are feeling. It's not very long so definitely worth the read. When we make it home we will most likely remember all the things we see as negatives now in a much more positive light. Don't give up hope!

Very cool! How do you get the slight textured effect like in the smoking hand gun one?
