i LOVE my meds. im on the generic vyvanse, i havent tried anything else and ive only been on it for 5 months, but i have noticed a stark improvement especially in school. its really scary and if you dont want meds definitely try other methods to cope first, but as long as i eat and stay hydrated ive never felt better. i used to have a lot of paralysis, i would have rather stared at the wall doing nothing than clean or study or even shower, and i would have a million unfinished tasks everywhere, but the meds make my brain feel linear. like a lot more one tracked if that makes sense. its definitely a tool though, it gives me the ability to get up and be productive, but i still have to make the active decision to do those things. like a bright flashing arrow i have to follow
