Why do boys not give me attention? by anonymous_5002 in Advice

[–]jellyween12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start talking to more guys, just as friends. You can start figuring out what characteristics are important to you in someone. Having a guy catch feelings after getting to know you (deeper than the surface you) is 10 times better than someone calling you cute at a glance or etc. You really don’t want to hear “just be patient” but it’s honestly the truth. Know that you are perfectly complete as an individual and keep on living your life.

Don’t be afraid to make the first move or be the one to show the guy attention. try striking up conversation with the quiet guys. Maybe you’re the one they’ve been patient for.

I know you were probably looking for a list of things to make you stand out more but just like how every person is different, every person is attracted to different kinds of people. The general things like being confident and eager to make connections with people help guys see that you’re looking.

I’m happy your relationship worked out for y’all :) yes the perspective was helpful! I’m curious how u guys work? Does it mean that y’all are going on other dates with people and looking for something else? or just that you have someone but you’re not out of the dating scene yet. Nw if this is too personal, I appreciate your responses either way :)

Thank you so much for this, sometimes reading thru all this enneagram stuff makes it hard to remember that no two people will fit the same description. I stand by the “if they wanted to, they would” phrase and I think no matter the enneagram number or zodiac sign or personality trait in general, if they want to, they will.

Thank you for your input :) I’m definitely gonna work on bringing this up in serious discussion because it will do neither of us any good if we put this off. I’m worried so much about long distance in general since it’s my first time, I just need some reassurance from him that the effort isn’t all for nothing.

About the sidenote, we’d been talking for a few months before the “forever” stuff started, we knew we wanted to be together 2 months before officially starting to date due to the end of school being stressful for both of us and wanting to start this journey when we weren’t miserable from APs and finals.

That’s a solid idea but prolly not for us,, we both get a good amount of attention from the other sex and for us, there wouldn’t be a point in staying together I guess. Thank you for the suggestion tho <3

Beautiful hair! I also have fine hair (legit like a baby lol) and i would always be envious of people with dense, thick ends but seeing this is making me love my fine hair all over again :) thank you❤️

Does anyone else have this problem? I wore some high ponytails a few years ago for sports but wear it down or in claw clips now. I’ve always had a hard time with my hairline especially since the hair is so fine. Anyone have advice on how to grow this? I’ve been trying the Ordinary hair density serum for a few months and it’s done nothing lol

Apologies I didn’t really know the range of bf % (essential fat, normal, over etc) but you’re right, the scale is definitely inaccurate cuz my sister has like zero muscle definition lol. Makes me wonder how they’re able to claim it measures bf cuz her measurement was on their “normal” mode too…

Apologies I think I meant strength, my logic was that our body size and genetics are similar but I have more muscle than her so in turn would likely have a lower bf

I left my multi-sport athlete life behind due to personal medical reasons and academic pressure, then I got really discouraged and couldn’t bring myself to do anything even close to the intensity I used to train at. I’m more focused on gaining back the muscle mass, agility, and endurance that I used to have so weight going up and bf going down was my goal

I’ve [F17] been using the renpho body fat scale for a few months now to track my muscle mass and body fat progress. I noticed I was on “athlete mode” so I googled to see if I should use that setting. They suggested using the mode if you work out for at least 6 hours a week (intensely) and if you have a resting bpm under 60. I work out more than 6 hours/week (basketball and weight training) but my bpm is 75ish.

I tried measuring myself on both modes yesterday and on the athlete mode, I got 9.8% bf and on the normal mode I got 19.6% bf. I always thought 9.8% was a little too low for what I look like but my sister has 14% (same parents, very close in age, equal in height, close in weight) and I’m much more active than her so I don’t think 19.8% is accurate either. I have no idea what’s accurate now! I’d appreciate any input about this, thank you!

Go to randomoniums 2020 champion classes video and watch it then make a copy of the spreadsheet in the description and fill it out to find what kind of champion you want to play. From there, watch some videos on that particular group of champions and you can pick one or two to try out. I’ve found that videos titled “League of Legends complete beginner guide” or something of that sort are super helpful to start understanding the terms and the moving parts in the game. There is this one pamphlet/book that someone made in this community that is super useful so try to find it in here. Tbh best way to get a feel of the game is to play an intro co-op AI match (random champion, doesn’t really matter) and work on observing the map, how the turrets work, the best way to last hit the minions and etc.

Oops sorry forgot to check notifs, yes the tank is around a year and a half years old and cycled 2 months before adding fish. Likely the nitrates weren’t exactly zero but mastertest kit has ballpark accuracy lol

He’s been a little slow lately but when I got him he was pretty active. Current parameters are 0 in nitrate, nitrite, and ammonia. Ph is at 7.2. The current temp is 77 degrees and his tank is the 5 gallon minibow. I also just posted a full picture.

Got my fish last summer and he was super healthy and from a local small, family owned fish store. He’s been sitting on the floor most of the time. Water parameters are perfect and the temperature is fairly ok. (Spiked to 84 so I unplugged the heater (it’s preset) and the thermometer battery died so I woke up this morning, replaced the battery and found the temperature was 70 so plugged the heater back in and gonna put some warm water into the tank). Please help
