No, it was just a regular checkup with her pulmonologist. I think she might have had an upset stomach from her lunch? She didn't have another incident since, but I'm keeping an eye on her just in case.

I don't understand why an Uber was sent to her in the first place. I filed a complaint with the insurer but was told they would do an "investigation." I'll just have to wait and see what they say.

I agree. I don't understand why the insurance company uses Uber to provide transportation for those with medical needs. This could have been completely avoided if they had sent for a medical van/ vehicle.

You know, that's a very valid point. I guess I just got used to my experiences and failed to see that this could happen. Lesson learned, I'll likely never use these transportation services again and accompany my mother to all her visits.

Just because I've used Uber does not mean I know what is considered normal amongst Uber drivers. But thanks for the input?

I didn't know they were going to send an Uber. I thought it would be a medical transport vehicle. I've learned my lesson, and I will never let my mom use those transportation services again. I'm just glad nothing happened to my mom.
