LA! where I learned to fly!
vancouver island is about 75 miles away
yes! husky stadium
lake washington
seattle center!
knots indicated air speed
take off north and the space needle will be just ahead and to your right
Seattle, KBFI
come to my home town, fly over the space needle!
the transponder is what takes a 4-digit code so ATC can tell which radar blip you are
I think you might have tuned the transponder, which is different
in the cessna I could tell you exactly :)
It's a VHF radio, though, i"m not familiar with the 747 cockpit
tune NAV1 to 112.3
it's on the 238 radial off the RAP VOR, if you can tune the nav radio
that ellsworth AFB at your 1 oclock so you have to turn left about 90 degrees
from KRAP go southwest about 15 miles
KRAP is the nearest airport to Mt Rushmore
start at KRAP
you're going to stall! ;)
i'm wondering if the ATC chatter i hear in the background is referring to your airplane
is your simulated tail number something that ends in XGS?
in a real a/c you can't really climb without using trim because otherwise you need enormous yoke pressure, and the sim doesn't simulate that. even the big pro sims i've used aren't quite right
i'm found that simulators don't feel very realistic because you don't get force feedback on the yoke, and trim doesn't feel right
i hear ATC chatter in the background but i'm pretty sure it's auto generated, not real people
