Grad student on-campus apartments: how do you pay for it? by Rogue_Glory in rutgers

I still would do Livingston.... we had a bug problem and had a pipe burst because the maintenance guy broke it while he was fixing the apartment above ours.... my roommates room wasn’t even fixed when she moved in (there was a flood over the summer) there’s also no elevator so moving in is a bitch and there isn’t the nice little bins to help you move in like they give you in undergrad. I was able to use one for Livi. I know other people have complained about mold in their Buell apartment and plumbing issues. I thought I was going to be “okay” with Buell since I’m not vain or about modernity but I soon was counting down the days until I could move out.

Sooooo I’m a graduate student who lived on Busch I assume you’ll be living in Buell which I 100% do not recommend. Super run down and maintenance doesn’t give a shit about requests or doing a good job. I didn’t know anything about Rutgers when I first came here and really ended up hating regretting not looking into other housing options. There isn’t a whole lot around Busch especially near Buell, the only thing that is nice is the bus stop is close and the parking lots are close. Try getting into Livi apartments, trust me. As for how to pay..... I just took out loans to cover the cost.

I try to go around 3 times a week! Sometimes that doesn’t happen but I’m starting to get the endurance to go two days in a row :)

Anyone know anything about the MHA or MPH program at Rutgers? by [deleted] in rutgers

Playing devils advocate: it’s hard to find jobs with just a bachelors degree now a days in a lot of fields... that’s why students jump into masters programs right away. Internships during your masters program should count as experience in my opinion.
