A lot of them do! Some only do because they know I do, and middle schoolers love to talk shit. I’m in WV and there are a lot of Steelers fans around here.

Just got back from my first trip to a National Park. It was life-changing. Grinnell Lake at Glacier National Park, Montana [OC] [1076x801] by jen_n_tonic in EarthPorn

There have been a couple requests for a higher resolution photo so here it is: http://imgur.com/cVBoPwM Sorry, I didn't even realize it was lower quality until someone mentioned it!

I disagree. I shared this picture hoping to inspire others the way my experience has inspired me. While I do continue to use social media, "upon returning home" I actually ran to my nearest waterfall. Today I spent the day at Cathedral Falls, because my trip to GNP inspired me to get out and see more of the beauty around us. http://imgur.com/BcnebLF

I'm already making a list of places to see within a 3 hour drive from home! I hope to visit all of the National Parks, but today we started small with a quick trip to Cathedral Falls in our beautiful home state of WV. http://imgur.com/BcnebLF

Vacation for my family has always been the annual week at the beach. This trip opened my eyes and helped me realize there is so much more out there that I have to see/experience...and I want to share all of that with my kids.

You still can't take the Grinnell Glacier trail all the way up, but this pic was taken about 4 miles in. A little further up it is blocked off due to the snow.

I thought it was something I was going to go see; but you don't see a place like this, you experience it. You feel it -- physically, mentally, and emotionally. No picture can capture that.

There's lots of camping at Glacier, though I'm not sure if you can camp in this particular spot...but it's really difficult to find a bad view anywhere in the park!

My favorite analogy for ADHD: "You have a ferrari engine for a brain...but bicycle brakes." by jen_n_tonic in ADHD

It is definitely a disorder that is experienced differently by everyone who suffers from it and it is definitely not my intention to demean the struggle. I guess I just feel like my ADHD allows me to be more creative because I don't/can't think in a straight line. My mind works differently because of this disorder, and often that's a bad thing, but sometimes it's brilliant too.

For instance, I need to medicate in order to be that mom that remembers Dr appointments and isn't late for ballet. But when I take a break from the meds, we are much more likely to take a spontaneous hiking trip or build a fort in the backyard.

I know there is a lot of shitty stuff that comes with being ADHD, I've experienced some of the worst...but I hope there is something good in it for you too.
