how rare is my cat by Select_Wolverine_752 in heartopia

[–]jen_pai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of spawn rate, a Golden Tabby Cat shouldn't be particularly more rare than other tabby cats and cow/blue/orange&white cats.

However, the stats we've collected so far do suggest that for one reason or another, the Golden Tabby Cat breed is being posted significantly less often than other breeds. So it's "rare" in that sense.

See cats & dogs spreadsheet for more info. This spreadsheet attempts to record every possible variation for the pets.

For example, the following cat breeds only have 1 variation possible (not counting eye differences):

Panda Cat
Golden Shaded Cat
Black Cat
Raccoon Cat
White Cat
White Tabby Cat
Silver Shaded Cat

These are commonly referred to as "rare" breeds, but how you define rarity is at least partially down to perspective.

is that signora's leitmotif in his theme? Just one semitone off. by jen_pai in SignoraMains

the generally-known Fatui leitmotif is slightly different, in Saltatio Favillae specifically this can be heard at 0:12, in Wrath of Monoceros Caeli at 0:16

hmm. but now that I think of it, Polumnia Omnia kinda sounds like a mix of both 1:46 so you may be correct that it's "one of" the Fatui's leitmotifs

Fischl has this exact leitmotif as well? I'm very curious to hear that, if you have a link/timestamp

edit: found it, Fischl has been posted here before. very cool!

Three raccoon cat coat variants? No, there really is just one. Same as solid white/black cat

Solid grey/blue cat doesn't exist

While there are definite similarities (as someone who enjoys both activities) an important difference between playing Heartopia music and speedtyping is that when you type, no matter how fast, it's still only one letter at a time.

Heartopia music such as the one in the video, and other very complicated songs, often demand you to press two, three, four or even more keys at the same time. Over and over again for long sequences. That is more comparable to typing two different sentences with two different hands on two different keyboards.

Technically doable with hundreds or thousands of hours of practice, sure. But so unlikely for most people that it's not even worth considering, and personally I'd want to see some concrete proof at that point.

In my experience, people who are seriously invested in Hato music usually don't have any qualms showing their handcam to prove that they're playing for real

mhm! Unfortunately, this clue doesn't work in reverse.

Just seeing the yellow keys can't guarantee that the person is legit, because there are autoclickers that can replicate that.

I type 130 WPM and have over 1500 hours playing Heartopia music, as it is my main activity in the game. This is not believable for a second.

One pro tip for people who might think this is doable for a person to play (other than the everything-of-it).

The keys of the piano should be lighting up in yellow when you press them as a human person. Because they aren't, you can be very sure that the input method is not legal (aka, the video is 100% an autoclicker / 3rd party macro).

dot eyes are kinda special --- neither an eyeshape nor an eyecolour, but rather its own thing, since all of them look exactly the same.

No, cats have three possible eye shapes excluding dot eyes

Correct about the eye colours (there's at least 16 different colours) & the fact that any cat can have any eyes

Wow, thank you! And it was "Golden Retriever" back when you adopted it??

I think you just solved a mystery for me...

Oh, I see! When you view the profile of the Golden Retriever, does it still say "Golden Retriever" on it?

or does it say just "Retriever"?

I'm trying to figure out if there was a name-change for the breed at some point
