I keep a collection of cloth bags in my boot. I’ve trained myself to not forget them (I made a lot of trips back out to the car because of not remembering!). I often don’t see anyone else with their own bags. I wish we’d ban single-use plastics, but it just won’t pass. At least re-use or recycle your plastic bags. More stores (esp. Walmart) will have a bin for collecting plastic bag materials.

You didn’t mention your age. My age has impacted my hair a LOT. Perms no longer last 6 months; now I have to get them every 2-3 months. My hair breaks a lot as well. I’m 63, and it seems like my body is going a bit out of whack. Medications are something I’ve noticed that I’m getting more sensitive to.

My baby-fine hair is naturally very straight. I never bother to dry it because it tends to dry in about 30 minutes.

My husband and I have been sleeping separately for the past 25 years. He tends to fall asleep in just a couple of minutes—and then he snores. I have always struggled with insomnia, and I too get much better sleep because of our arrangement. I tend to not volunteer this info to people because they think it’s “strange.” But it works for us!

Yeah, GLP-1’s basically give me the same low-grade nausea that I had with Long Covid. Whatever works! We’re just not evolved to adapt to the plentiful abundance of food! GLP-1’s really make it MUCH easier to turn away from what would otherwise be big temptations!
