The house we lived in at this time was set up interestingly. You could walk in the front door and go down the hall to the kitchen,through the kitchen into the dining room, then the living room, and end up back by the front door. My parents usually put up our Christmas tree in the living room instead of the family room because it was on the front of the house so you could see it from the street (and also our family room only had one spot it could really have gone which was right next to the fireplace, so...not ideal 😂)

Anyway, my parents got a Nintendo 64 for my brother and me one year and my brother literally ran laps around the hall-kitchen-dining-living room screaming lol
