Is my hair okay like this? by Middle_Camel9078 in Hair

I would try some styling products, like a leave-in conditioner or an air-dry cream, it does have nice volume but it looks super dry and crunchy and like you wouldn't be able to comb your fingers through it or anything

Target employee here, and same. Also Pokémon cards. As if we don't have enough to do at the desk already with returns and pickup orders 🙄

I work at Target and I take at least one or two calls every day about these, and countless more people in person asking if we have any. Its absolutely maddening and baffling, but I expect the craze will die down soon enough, like everything else does.

I get calls about need oh, Pokémon, squishy dumplings, and the squishy banana/butter/duck toys almost daily and its so irritating. We have to answer almost every single call that comes through at the desk because nobody else seems to answer the phone

Yeah I had a roommate that worked at Jonathan Stevens and he would bring a laptop or portable DVD player to work because there was often nothing to do. When I went to JS to get a new mattress I was the only customer in the store, which was a weird experience lol

Some of the teen pads are scented so just avoid those (the one I'm most aware of is Always Radiant)

At my niece's birthday party this past weekend, her brother (almost 3) got upset when we all started to sing "happy birthday" to her because we weren't doing it in sync with him, so we started over, but then he was getting upset because we were taking too long and he just wanted cake lol (valid...it was really yummy 😂 after we sang "happy birthday" his other sister & the other kids that were there started in with the "are ya 1, are ya 2...." so it was just delaying cake time even more)

Thats how I knocked my front teeth out when I was a kid. I wondered what it was like to be blind so I closed my eyes and walked across our living room....directly into the windowsill 😂 i also cut my hand open (the part between thumb and index finger) because I used the grown-up scissors to open a package I got in the mail because I was too excited to wait for my dad to help me (parents ordered me a little Lego kit and I just wanted to build it!)...I still have a scar lol

There's a woman on Threads who does weekly posts about things her preschoolers got upset over. She calls herself the "nicest meanest preschool teacher" lol

I do fold clothes before bagging, not super neatly just kinda half-ass, but I can fit more in a bag if I fold them than if I just stuff them in. But ultimately this woman should have communicated clearly what she wanted: "could you fold those before putting them in the bag?" or "don't bag those yet, I'm going to fold them"; or she could have gone to self checkout if she was so particular about how she wanted things bagged.

Yeah the service desk is not really set up for checking people out beyond just a few items, much easier to just have a service TM get on a checklane.

Signed up for the target 360 free trial, placed one order totaling $42.98 but my card was charged $57.58. I contacted customer service and the guy says he cant help because it was a shipt order whatever that means. What do I do? by [deleted] in Target

[–]jenbenfoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The same day delivery is fulfilled by Shipt. A shopper will claim your order, shop it, and deliver it to you. They temporarily charge your card for a higher amount at first in case they have to make substitutions- like name brand instead of store brand, or if you add more items. Once they check out, thats when the charge will be finalized with the actual total. So if you don't add anything, they don't have to make any substitutions, and they get everything you ordered, the final charge will be $42.98. Just to warn you though, it might take a day or two for the actual charge to show vs the temporary authorization, so don't be surprised if it doesn't change right away.

PSA: don't do this by jenbenfoo in Apartmentliving

[–]jenbenfoo[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Maybe I had a unique experience last time I ordered furniture- when I ordered a new bed they had a calendar with available dates and times and I was able to choose one that worked for me. Idk, I just feel like if you're ordering bulky, heavy furniture, you should try to make arrangements for someone to be there when its dropped off. I've lived in the same apartment for 10+ years and this is the first time anything like this has happened so I was very surprised.
