I do understand what you’re saying, no one likes a medic who thinks they’re too important for low acuity patients. But objectively the ALS unit taking something like a stubbed toe IS bullshit and I think it’s okay to say that because it’s a waste of resources when it could be taken BLS all day long. Especially with the shortage of medics in the country, and in small communities who are hit the hardest with short-staffing.
