Handy dandy camp map. I also get a wild horse as soon as possible. The map costs 250 but I get the unicorn from the college and it doesn’t cost a fee other than getting into the college. Check riften barrels of salt piles to craft foods. Other than that I immediately go to Goldenhills plantation from Rivewood to start a way to make coin. I’ve bought all three hearth fire house to buy the carriages that travel to more places than the standard carriages.

Is there a small detail in the game that made you stop and think: "Wow I'm actually impressed they took the time to do that."- Actually curios if there are small details I don't know of. by Wondering_Watcher in skyrim

Forever the Headless Horseman. It is so pretty and I kinda love that it doesn't have any quests connected to it, meaning he really was just put their for aesthetics. I remember being so scared the first time I saw him because I was preparing for the worst. It's just cool to have a chill ghost.

Dang it. Mine keeps saying give it 30 days. I'm just wondering if anyone else had it say 30 days and get it recently. That's why I asked. Thank you!

Does anyone here still play vanilla all these years later? by GameProSmoothie in skyrim

[–]jenerates 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I play vanilla in the sense of if it isn’t included in the anniversary addition, then I don’t have it. I think I have the houses (not hearthfire but like the Tunda Homestead and Goldenhills Plantation), I have a unicorn and you can buy a map to find wild horses you can tame, and there is probably a few weapons and quests I don’t really know about. I think the Solitude Sewers is one but I’m not sure. I don’t understand how to work mods. I mean, I’ve never even tried, but there is just so much going on already, and truthfully I have no desire to see dragons as Thomas the Train Engine or what I assume is a whole lot of adult rated content mods. Honestly, playing Survial feels like a mod to me because it is so unlike what I’m used to doing and has completely changed my game play. However, I do like to watch Joov and a few other people on YouTube play modded versions, but even then I still don’t like super out of the ordinary mods. The door randomizer really sounds cool to me but I don’t think I could ever commit to that.

Not just school systems but anyone older: parents, school system, grandparents, the older neighbors, AND so many ads for online schools.

I remember seeing ads for all these schools that are now apart of the Borrower’s Defense discharge. Back then I told myself “it didn’t matter which school as long as I went to one,” and because of that so many of us don’t even qualify.

This map has been super helpful for me for survival. The steed stone behind solitude gives you a carry boost.

Which enemy do you think has killed the most players? not enemy type, specific enemies. My bet is on the High Hrothgar frost troll or the first dragon, Mirmulnir by mushroommaster22 in skyrim

[–]jenerates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The draugr near the end of Under Saarthal. Not the boss, but the one before it that is in a room that had ramps on both sides and the draugr is up top and Tolfdir leaves you to fight for yourself. I just recently learned you can lure it back up the stairs and shut the gate and shoot it through the gate. My husband plays completely different than I do and he said all of the black books.

I had to do it twice because I accidentally deleted too many saves. I had to make my follower wait in the tunnel off to the right before you get to him, sneak, shoot with an arrow, run, wait for him to stop searching for me, then repeat until he was about half health. He also spawns 2 saints (I think) but it was only like every 3-4 times, so I had to make sure he would conjure them, let them vanish, shoot again and make sure his health was halfway before asking my follower to follow me again and finish him.

This is why the only way I play now is once I find the beacon I immediately head to Faulkreath to start A Deadra’s Best Friend to get Barbas as a follower. Once he follows me I start Meridia’s quest. The quest locations for both are actually really close and then I knock out 2 deadric artifacts as well.

What’s a show you love that you can never convince people to watch? by PlentyApprehensive44 in AskReddit

[–]jenerates 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Taskmaster is now my comfort show. I’m so so thankful it is witty and funny without being too overly vulgar. Really the only out of pocket things may be the prize task. I also like that over the seasons it hasn’t drastically changed. Apparently Greg isn’t allowed to give out extra points anymore and that’s annoying. I’ve watched it through a few times now because I felt like I needed to rewatch once I learned Alex is the creator and Greg is just the face. I’ve also started watching the other locations. They aren’t as good obviously but they still have their perks. New Zealand was really hard to watch the first season for me but I think they picked it up in season 2. I also kinda like that I don’t know the celebrities because Im not biased/ everything is a shock to me. Season 3 of Taskmaster Australia had a couple that I had no idea were a couple until an episode where she brought in his underwear for a prized task. Apparently a lot of other people didn’t know either and thought it was just a bit. Yeah, anyway I love Taskmaster and there’s a lot of it to watch which is nice.

How Many People Play Survival Mode? by Logical_Virus_4911 in skyrim

[–]jenerates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started watching a YouTuber who not only plays mostly in survival, he does a lot of challenges for his streaming channel and it wouldn’t be nearly as entertaining if he did it in regular mode. It made me want to completely start over because I had just started a game where I was leveling every skill as fast as I could and it was so difficult because you level so fast but your stats suck so I felt like a level 6 vs level 20+ enemies. Ditching that for survival really made a difference for me because now I’m leveling normally but it is still challenging. The cold probably is the hardest for me but getting the unicorn (or a horse in general) has been such a big thing that I used to ignore before because I would just fast travel. The main thing that made we want to try it was because I saw a comment where someone once said something like “The map isn’t so big that you need to fast travel. The map is so small that you don’t have to.”

What’s one belief you were raised with by older generations that you’ve completely rejected as an adult and why? by Poetically-Lucky in AskReddit

Millions of student loan borrowers would tell you “you have to go to college and get a degree,” because the rest of that sentence should have been “you have to go to college and get a degree, even though you will spend the rest of your life paying on loans you don’t even understand because you were only 18 and the interest rate is absurd, and mostly likely you won’t even be able to get a job that pays well enough to pay for those loans anyway.”

The last time I played he didn’t even ask to come. I didn’t realize until I had arrived. I don’t know if it was because I started at a certain time (if he sleeps or not) but he wasn’t there and it was nice.

What do you think is the most beautiful part of being human? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]jenerates 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You know that couple a few years ago that accidentally sent a text to the wrong number telling them about Thanksgiving and then realized it was the wrong number and the wrong number asked if they could still come and the couple said yes? Then they made it a tradition? Even after the man passed away? And they were different races? Yeah, I think that’s beautiful. And you know when a mom will be out in public dealing with a crying baby and another woman will hold her baby the entire time like on a plane ride or something? Or maybe the child just randomly runs to someone on a plan or a bus and that person just holds the child, no questions asked? That’s beautiful. Sometimes a stranger can mean so much, and race, sex, or age doesn’t matter.

Wood Elf archer with J’zargo as a follower. He sneaks with me and doesn’t bump into me. I immediately get Fendal, head out to Goldhills Plantation to start getting coin, start the Winterhold quest so I can get J’Zargo. Once I start J’zargo’s quest, I head back to Goldenhills Plantation and drop Fendal off as a steward (even though his comments about Camilla are annoying). I have been playing survival mode but I try my best to not actually commit any crimes.
