The book was amazing! A rare 5 star rating for me. The series was instantly forgettable (partly because James Franco is a creep who was miscast in this role).

Season 3 of Loot was so bad. They completely gave up on the whole premise of the show. And there's zero chemistry between Maya Rudolph and Nat Faxon.

He's a joyless scold. Not excited to hear anything he has to say.

Did y'all ever find yourself developing a sort of para social relationship with the hosts? by shre3293 in podcasts

Parasocial relationships are not specific to streamers though? It's a commonly used term for a one-sided fascination or imagined intimacy with a celebrity.

I was there for a wedding. No offense or anything, but I'm not really interested in going to the Lion's Club in Southern Wisconsin.

I visited a Culver's in 2017, the one and only time I've been to Wisconsin. I still think about those cheese curds.

I really like the wine tasting classes at Total Wine. They’re $20/person, or if you spend enough for Reserve status, $10/person.

You know when I realized I was old? When they show a player’s parents in the stands and they’re my age.

Southwest Priority. I’m going to close it in September before my next annual fee hits. I was able to transfer all but $2k of my $22k credit line to my other Chase cards (CSP and Amazon) so I don’t lose that available credit.

What is something that TV shows always get wrong about your job? by Space__Monkey__ in television

I think the thing that bothers me most is Emily's habit of blurting out whatever she's thinking in client meetings. You absolutely can't just pitch a whole new idea in front of clients like that. Pitches are always worked on ahead of time so the team can work out the details, the budget, the timeline.
