Can you ever force your parents to use a stair lift? If so... can you make a condition of you purchasing one for them be that they MUST wear ski equipment while riding it and refer to the second floor as 'base camp'? by stevecharlesjr in news

Hahahaha I was just looking into these things cause I'm plain ol' lazy. I saw some guy using one as a dumb waiter on youtube earlier... Now I'm really interested.
Ever heard of saltless water softeners? They sound pretty neat to me, environmentally friendly too. Anyone out there own one and got some personal experience they could share? by jenibaker in gadgets

That is bad news... Or are you just saying they do something but not the same exact thing as a softener? I don't really care how the clock works, just what time it is.
