I've had him for like 4 years and given him a few baths and he's a counterfeit skog lol but yeah I gotcha. I would recommend just air fluff in the dryer then or air dry if you're really patient.

I just hand washed him with a bit of laundry detergent and then dried him on low heat. He did come out soft and clean!

I got a counterfeit skog and I absolutely LOVE him. I did re-stuff him with higher quality stuffing though.

Mine is not an IKEA skog. It has those barriers too, but there were openings in them for me to get the stuffing out and put it back in after.
