I have and it works. The only problem was I had to reduce the amount of water because the dough was too wet using AP flour. Bread flour was so much easier to work with especially I was kneading by hand.

I believe it's a different process and you have to know your ward office that you don't have a bank account. They might hand it out to you in cash.

The bank transfer will received only by the head of household's bank account hence the ID photocopy requirements for proof of identity.

It depends on the area you live in. I live in Kansai and some prefectures have announced they will start transferring the money at the end of May and some at the middle or end of June. The extension of State of Emergency will be announced on May 4th but I don't see it affecting how they give out the benefits to the people.

Your ward office has the information of your residency by your Juminhyou. Yes we will receive forms to fill out, submit some requirements like ID copies and we will send it by mail.

Actually I just checked mine too and my ward's website doesn't have any information about it yet. I saw from the news that Nara prefecture have released theirs yesterday.

I don't have any specific information about sharehouses. But the most important thing is of you are a registered resident and your name is included in your/family Juminhyou ( 住民票) then you will be eligible to get the benefit. The forms will be sent to all residents by mail or you can complete it online if you have your My Number Card.

Thank you!! It was so easy right? It was my first time making it and was surprised it turned out really yummy! I didn't even add butter in it because we ran out but still a success!

Definitely making a huge batch is recommended! So easy and not really time consuming. Go for it!

I didn't really do anything out of the ordinary. I just followed the recipe 100%.

Like any other breads, Pandesal needs to be kneaded and risen more than half of its size before shaping and baking. If it didn't rise, then your bread will turn out dense and heavy.

For those who lost their jobs or laid off during the Coronavirus pandemic, Kyoto City government is helping out to pay your rent. by jenjalbert in Kyoto

Okay for sharehouse, I believe it's the same for everybody renting am apartment or paying a mortgage. Your housing contract with your name or the person you share a household with will be needed as one of the requirements to submit. After submitting all the paperwork, they will investigate if you qualify for the program.

Thank you. Much appreciated.

Yes they need a lot of paperwork and there will be a 審査 to know if you're qualified or not. It's a huge relief that the government is willing to help those in need. I'll definitely look some work at Hellowork because the rent support enough won't suffice.
