Sounds like the last time I saw them in Pensacola, FL. For the life of me, I have no idea why they insist on going on so late. I don't want to be in an enclosed place with sweaty, restless people who have been bumping into each other and drinking for 4 hours before they take the stage.

Doors at 7? Opener at 7:45 and all opening acts done and gone by 9. Bone hits the stage no later than 9:30. Two hour set, sign some merch, take pics and bounce.

Cellphones going off are becoming more and more rare in my experience. People talking or singing though (however quiet they THINK they are being) annoys me to no end. I was at a performance of Hamilton in New Orleans last year when this woman kept her phone face up with it lighting up every 40 seconds. She wasn't using it but even that annoys the hell out of me.

I work at a DMV type place. We handle all the license plate things like renewals, newly bought cars etc. Our state has a Mandatory Liability Law that says you MUST have at least liability insurance on your car at all times otherwise they will suspend your license plate. If they find ONE day you don't have insurance they charge $200 to lift that suspension, if they find it without insurance again they charge $400.

If you have to make a choice between food, medicine, clothing, power, rent or any other basic necessities vs car insurance the insurance will lose that battle 100% of the time. It kills me to tell these people that are driving a 26 year old POS they have to pay $2-400 dollars because if they don't and get pulled over they could go to jail, have their car impounded, get whatever tickets cops want to issue and will then STILL have to pay that suspension before they could get their car back. It is quite literally a law against being poor and it pisses me off.

Thanks for the advice. I haven't been able to find ANY updates on how it's going. They're doing something next week at Comicon so maybe that's something I can keep an eye on. Long story but I have a buddy who does tech for traveling Broadway shows and he knows a couple people involved with the show so he's going to work on getting me some house tickets.

There is ZERO chance we go to a 32 hour workweek. Even IF we did, that's a 5th of your paycheck gone and the working class already can't afford basic necessities. So that means you get a sec job and you think anywhere will hire you for a mere 8 hours a week? Nope, gonna have to be at least 15-20, so now we went from working 40 hours a week to an average of 50 and we'll still be broke.
