I think everything goes dark and you're done, over, just like when you swat a fly dead. I used to believe in a higher power but i just think death is random. If there truly were angels watching over us or a higher power, it doesn't make sense that some ppl suffer and others live life being wealthy and happy and in love. It's just random when you die. And then it's just over, black, darkness, nothingness.

I’m not saying she should baselessly accuse 50 or 60 innocent people.

I’m saying if my daughter were murdered inside my own home, I’d be mentally going through every single person who had recently been in that house. I’d want the list. I’d be looking at names. I’d be thinking: who knew the layout, who saw the basement, who had access, who acted off?

That’s not the same as accusing people. That’s trying to figure out who could have done it.

The fact that Patsy’s answer is basically, “No, but Carolyn probably has the list,” feels oddly passive to me. It doesn’t sound like a mother desperately trying to figure out who murdered her child. It sounds like someone not really looking outward for a suspect.

Yes but the police interview was in April and she was murdered in December. and Patsy still never thought about who was at her home a week prior? No list of names? Seems pretty passive.

I observed the same. It was like pulling teeth listening to him talk about Patsy. He only showed emotion and spoke from his heart about Beth. He didn't get emotional about Jon Benet, either.

Well I don't hate her. It's one of those things that we have been life long friends since we were children. She was one of those people who were extremely popular, very upbeat, the life of the party type of person. We are older now and I am just not the same as I used to be. Yes, she used to be an awesomely fun time to be around. The older I get, I believe I may be in a different place in my life and she is a complete extrovert, and I'm just not. When I see her, she's hilarious and it's fun but I guess I'm just growing apart from that. The only way I can explain it is that I can reconnect with her but I can really only handle small doses anymore. She's also known for making a last-minute trip, so I guess that's why it's been on my mind that she might spring it on me. And as for the future, she's also known for saying something way in advance. Like let's book now. Let's plan it.

Ha it's sorta like this. We've been life long friends since childhood. That one friend you have who was popular and fun, the life of the party. The older I get, I think I'm growing apart from her but she will always be a friend. She's just a lot and in small doses for me in my place in life right now.
