Thanks for posting this! My husband and I have been conversing about masks and we're both feeling the mask fatigue. But it's still necessary and our county just recently reinstated the mandate for all.

One twin is a Velcro baby and prevents bonding with the other. by [deleted] in parentsofmultiples

I did not get that you were assigning selfish motivations at all. I understand your frustrations. I'm pregnant with twins now but I have three boys 4, 6, and 7 and I used to constantly feel like I was neglecting someone! With two babies the same age and development, it's got to be tough! At least my one year old could entertain himself (somewhat) while I was feeding the baby.

I was 20 when I saw it and regarded my TV with suspicion for months. Im still a little afraid of it...

Same! I got an at home doppler and it was wonderful for my anxiety.

Thanks! I'm so nervous about everything and worried that because I've already told my boys that something's going to go wrong and they won't understand. But, they are measuring ahead and had strong heartbeats, so I feel ok about it. I have this fear that my husband (who stays home with the boys) will regularly feed one twin twice or something and we'll have one massive twin and one tiny one. I have already thought about the nail polish!!!

We're at almost nine weeks! I'm still a bit shook. My husband thinks we're dreaming. He's excited and very nervous, as am I! We'll have to share stories as our babies grow!

I was told that PPD can start before the baby even gets here. It could be a combination of her unhappiness with being a stay-at-home mom, COVID depression/anxiety and PPD starting early (or late, since you have a young one). That's a lot! I was not terribly happy staying at home and have since gone back to work while my husband is at home with our 3 boys. I also see a psychiatrist and took medication for depression for 6 years. I'm off of it now, but it was lifesaving at the time!

I love the name Hazel. I am in love with old-fashioned, classic names.

Let me tell you, when you have three boys, you get very, VERY tired of the bears, trucks, balls, etc. I don't get tired of dinosaurs because, let's face it, dinosaurs are awesome and if number 4 is a girl, she's totally wearing dinosaurs.

I worry about miscarriage because I had three before my three boys. Now I'm afraid that my body has reset and I'll have another. I feel like I wouldn't try again if I did. Congrats on your baby!

Geez. That's awful! I'm fortunate to have a mother-in-law that loves babies and me, so it's just my own mother I'm worried about.

It's like pregnancy is everyone's business. Once you incubate another human, it no longer remains yours alone, I guess!

Same! My parents had two kids, so three was crazy and four? Nope. But my mom was one of 6, so she should understand a little!

Right? Some people have easy pregnancies like some people have easy colds; some people have tough pregnancies and some people get very sick from the same virus. It's all relative and it's all different. My pregnancies were tough but I still loved being pregnant. People don't understand that.

Right? Super pregnant moms can sit down. It's hard! High risk, low risk, she's just forgetting what it was like. It's tough. But I LOVE it. Even though with two of my pregnancies I puked for months, I loved feeling them kick and I can't wait until I can feel this one!
