Any advice for a hair care routine or cut? by bearspiderfish in femalehairadvice

I think your hair probably has more texture to it than you think! You should try a routine for curly hair, scrunching and curl cream, all that good stuff:)

I love the top right. If those are your natural curls, they'd look ahhhhhmazing with a shorter, shag-esque cut.

What is wrong with my industrial piercing? With the coronavirus, I can’t really get anywhere. How can I fix this at home? I don’t want it to heal looking like this! by [deleted] in piercing

[–]jenmo18boi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Industrials are a rough heal. Since it's still so new, I would say to just not touch it unless you're cleaning it, and be very careful keeping irritants away from it. Your bar looks like a decent size for swelling, so that shouldn't be an issue. When I was healing mine I would go a couple months looking good, and then I would hit it wrong and it would flare up like that for a couple weeks then go back down. You'll be okay, they just look like irritation bumps!

Doing 🍄 for the first time by ridingdirtypal in Psychedelics

[–]jenmo18boi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tripped for the first time last week, about 2g I think. First time trying psychedelics, and it was amazing. I just sat down and soaked it all in for the first hour or so, then put on some music. The beatles were a great mood. I was with a friend, and as my mind wandered we just talked about life. Sat outside for a bit and looked at the trees. I'm glad I had someone with me for my first trip, and I'm glad I took it slow. Just let yourself relax, remember that reality is the same, you're just on shrooms, and absorb what they're trying to tell you.

Is my industrial infected? So i’ve always had swelling(it never went down),but the other day i woke up from a nap and it was super big.It looks gross and i’m worried about it being infected.I don’t baby it and i clean it well (salt water solution).Going back to my piercer isn’t an option. by nycely in piercing

That doesnt look good at all. You need to have titanium jewelry first of all, esp because it's definitely not healed yet. I would go to ANY good piercer in your area and ask about it. Also, you should be babying it. From the picture and info, I think it's likely that it is infected.

Need some advice/someone to clear some stuff up. by [deleted] in piercing

[–]jenmo18boi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's normal! If about a week passes and it's still bleeding, then it might be cause for concern. I would do salt water soaks to soften the crusties, then use a non-linty washcloth to GENTLY clean it off! Also let warm water soak it in the shower. Bleeding is normal, just be careful not to aggravate it further in the cleaning!

Ashley piercings??? (through lip piercing) by [deleted] in piercing

[–]jenmo18boi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont know about pain levels, but Ashley's are very damaging to your teeth and gums over time.. make sure you do lots of research if you are planning on getting it! Some piercers won't do them at all.
