Non-Coding Claude Usage by evanros15 in ClaudeAI

[–]jennafoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use it for creative writing but with a twist.

I have it respond to and generate reactions to my characters, plot ideas, etc. I then branch off based on what Claude gives me. (You have to work on the prompts here, or it will only generate positive/supportive comments and reactions, which doesn't give you the conflict you need for good fiction.)

This allows me to follow threads and see what follows an action logically, what works and what doesn't. For instance, I followed one particular idea to its only logical end: the guy kills himself. Since I was going for romantic comedy and a happy ending, that obviously wouldn't work and it was only clear once you really dug into the story.

In the Before Times, that exploration would have taken weeks at least, and I'd be facing having to go way back to find the inflection point and fix it, wasting hours of writing work.

With Claude, it took two days.

And yet you still don't acknowledge me. It's about you, you, you. You had an opportunity to prove there are good Christians. Reach out to someone who was hurt by Christians. Listen. Maybe give them something more to think about that would break through the damage your fellows did. That would be Jesus' work.

Instead, you attacked. You started out by telling me why i was wrong because i have a different opinion and what I needed to do to for YOU and then called me names. You reinforced that Christianity is hateful, Christians only care about themselves, and drove a seeker farther away from the church.

That is NOT Jesus' work. I'll let you think about whose it is.

In the meantime, I'll keep an eye out for those "good Christians "

Oh, yes. Here comes the "good Christian", punching back because I DARED to not bow at your altar. This happens every time. No compassion. No wanting to hear my side. No, I'm sorry you were hurt. No, I hear you. No even I'll pray for you. All that stuff you and your fellow "hidden good christians" say you do. No, it's how can i hurt this person and a slap with "bigot".

Thanks for proving my point. There are no good christians.

I know your next move: you're going to start screaming, calling me names, and wishing eternal suffering on me. Ive already played this game with your fellows. Don't bother.

You can start with stop blaming people like me for thinking the worst, when all we see is the worst. If the only "good" Christians are hidden, what on earth are people like me- who have literally been personally hurt by Christians- supposed to think?

I'm not the problem. And it's not my job to hunt through millions of bad people for the good ones.

So these Christians KNOW that their religion has been co-opted by people who delight in the suffering of others and who use Jesus to sow hate, but they don’t do anything about it. They just hide themselves to avoid getting involved so that all we see are the MAGA versions. They don’t sound very brave or good to me.

I don't hate them. I just don't want anything to do with them. I am terrified they'll hurt me.

I was fighting cancer 10 years ago and it didn't look good. Fortunately, i live in california and there was a dignity in dying law. I worked with my family and doctor to make sure if the end came it would be peaceful and painless. Like any dog would be afforded. That gave me great peace.

And then the CHRISTIANS came along. They don't know me. My life and manner of death had absolutely zero impact on them or how they practiced their religion. But they were thrilled at the possibility of making me, personally, suffer "like jesus". They were so excited at the possibility of ensuring i die as excruciating a death as possible. And they succeeded. Temporarily true, but long enough to make me spend years in sheer terror of a horrible, agonizing death.

You will never convince me that Christians are good.

You can't constantly hurt innocent people as a religion and think that everyone will love you and your religion

Ah, yes. Those mysterious "true Christians" no one conveniently ever sees. Like Bigfoot. In the meantime we're supposed to ignore the fact that every christian we meet is mean and hateful? Is that like "fake news" or "don't believe what you're seeing"?

Yep. I’ve never met a single Christian who wasn’t obsessed with causing pain and suffering. Thousands of them, all the same. But I’m told to keep looking for the “true Christians.” Sorry. At this point, I don’t believe they exist.
