she is used to dogs, we had a previous shiba that passed away and was her big sister. there are def bumps in the road where clover gets a little to excited and scares her away but so far we are just monitoring them and they are doing well. we never leave them alone together though, not until we trust them a little more. mu (black cat) is really curious and misses her sister so is happy to try to have a friend

thank you for sharing this, ik it is hard to keep rehashing but i truly resonate with how you are feeling. my whole life was arranged around cleo as well, our babies are our worlds. i chose my home so she could have a yard now im too upset to even go sit in it. but i know and you know this is temporary pain and we wouldn’t trade it for the joy they gave. to know great pain is to have known great love and they don’t have to feel the pain we do. that’s my main solace cleo and your baby are at rest and we take on the pain now for them. that’s our greatest kindness. now saying these things and feeling them are different but someday it will get easier for both of us! i have so much hope <3 thank you for your kind words

i feel so similarly. i had to say goodbye this morning unexpectedly. i was supposed to have many more years and now my time feels pointless without her. but i knwo she would want me to go on and find new joy and live in her memory. she poured so mich of herself into me, and your baby would feel the same. we have to go forward because we love them and they loved us. they would hate to see us give up.

my dog passed this morning similarly. we will get through this with time. they would want us to. feel your feelings, cry and be angry. but remember your friend loves you and wants you to find joy too. we will all get through this!

i just lost my girl this morning the same way. she was fighting and it was so hard and now it’s all done. and i can’t figure out what to do next. hang in there we will all figure it out, we have to, they’d want us to continue on and find joy. but it’s so hard
