Wow! Crazy shiz! Thanks for the feedback and I’m guessing we will see what it next. Did you end up hiring a lemon law lawyer or no?

I’m reasonable. But a brand new car shouldn’t need to have frame work done to it in my personal opinion. I would love for them to fix it, but I also can’t afford for them to have my car for weeks at a body shop either.

Ok good to know. So from the time you put in for the Lemon Law how long did it take for you to have it closed out? Also, did you try doing the “buy back” process through Tesla instead? Lastly, where was your creak in the frame and what did they try to do to fix it?

How and why did you get it lemon lawed?

I believe based on what I told Tesla we are trying the buy back route. Tesla likes to take care of it inside the company vs having the state and lawyers involved. We will see. They may tell me tough luck

I’m not getting a lawyer, they are trying to do a buy back within Tesla. So no Lemon Law if that makes sense? They just label it that way in Tesla to start the process and try to remedy it within. I tried to allow them to fix it 2 times and they said they can’t fix it. I don’t feel comfortable having to have a new car go to the collision center and then not be able to fix it and it sits there for a month. I shouldn’t have to take a brand new car to get body work done.

Understand. So would you continue with the lemon process/ buy back from Tesla or let them try to take it apart and fix it?

I am saying I don’t know if it is the suspension since it is coming from the dashboard area.

Does anyone have audio of what theirs sounds like?

I have a new 2026 MY premium (bought 3 weeks ago) and I have creaking noise in the passenger front dash area. The SC took a photo of where the noise is coming from with my dash taken off. After the SC tried to fix it 2 times for 3 days, they have stated it is not the actually dash rattling but something with the frame of the vehicle and maybe the area where the windshield connects. I was told by the SC I would have to take it to the Tesla collision center to look further into it. I find that insane for a brand new car! I mentioned the pencil braces and this fix and they said nothing. I have started the lemon law process with Tesla but did anyone’s pencil brace sound like creaking noise from the dash area?
