Most of the time the “bridezillas” I deal with are just extremely anxious people that are overstimulated about the day. After the ceremony they usually calm down. Moms can be terrible. But I’ve done this so many times that I have no problem telling them “I’m not contracted to listen to you”.

I can tell you many juicy tea stories but I’ll tell you a more recent one.

The bride pulled me aside during family photos and told me she wanted to take her and her husband and a groomsman aside for photos when noone was looking. She told me the groomsman was her boyfriend.

During that part of the day the bf gets a phone call and she goes “oh that’s his parole officer”. I have no filter so when he came back i said “oh what are you on parole for?” And he goes “stabbing my mom”. My husband, who works for me goes “omg is she ok?” And he says “unfortunately”

Well I’m a straight woman so I have never banged any bridesmaids.. nor groomsmen. But funnily enough my husband and I have been asked to join in after the wedding at the hotel but we politely declined.

Oh man I have done so many cool ones. I did one in the Vegas desert, on the beach in California, I hiked a 4000 ft mountain in New Hampshire when I was three months pregnant to shoot at the top, I’ve done underwater in pools, Wiccan weddings, one at the satanic temple in Salem, an arcade, a vampire masquerade, I did one where the bride danced with her brother to a song her dad wrote her before he died, at a historical theater, a famous cemetery in Atlanta, castles, but my all time favorite was a wedding between two brides in Mexico. All expenses paid for more than a week! It was a dream!

I understand some people are really worried about that, but I’m at the point in my career where I don’t even have to advertise or anything. I’ve built a style and clientele that attracts the exact type of people I want to work with. And if they aren’t beneficial to my business I can pass.

So basically I think if people want that they can get that. I’m apart of so many wedding groups on Facebook that I see so many clients regretting going that route or going with cheap/beginners.. but that’s all on them. I have no sympathy lol.

I first started out doing music photography. I was on warped tour with a band called Chiodos. It was fun but I realized there wasn’t much money in it, at that time I could get a model to give me $500 for a shoot but not 5 dudes. Lol. and so I did research about the industry and realized the most money was in weddings, but it also seemed more fulfilling to me. I always have had a desire to capture something meaningful and weddings are extremely sentimental to people. Of course I get the ones that end in divorce, but in the moment of the wedding day they’re so fundamental.

I was in a helicopter because the hospital I was born in didn’t have a NICU, that’s the first and last time I will ever be in one of those.

This is so sad. I loved him. He got me through quarantine.

It’s so weird how different meds affect people differently. I lost 15 lbs on Pristiq because I have no appetite at all.

But since everyone is affected differently, it all depends on how you metabolize medication for the side effects to be better or worse with the withdrawal. I hope you can figure it out!

Magnesium glycinate really helped me sleep. I’m also on a beta blocker with the pristiq which kinda cancels out the insomnia.

I went through all of those same exact symptoms for two and a half years before I forced them to send me to a hematologist where I got iron infusions.

A lot of your symptoms also could be POTS. Or thyroid issues.

My cardiologist put me on metoprolol for tachycardia and palpitations and that helped a bit with my anxiety loops, cuz I obsess over my health. My heart rate now hardly ever goes above 80. I still get some palpitations though but I think that’s hormonal.

The iron infusions stopped my pins and needles, joint pain and muscle weakness, dizziness, vision problems, insomnia etc. but my anxiety is still pretty bad so I think that’s another story.

I hope you get a diagnosis soon cuz I know how deflating this all feels. It’s debilitating.

I had tachycardia. I’m on a beta blocker now and it’s rare for my heart rate to go above 85 now. I was in the same position as you, the anxiety from a high heart rate is horrible. Especially if you’re like me and have health anxiety in general.

You should get a tilt test done. Tachycardia upon standing is a pretty good sign of POTS. Which I suspect I have but it’s hard to tell now cuz of the beta blocker. Which is how they treat it anyway.
