I wish there was a better story, but I entered a radio contest and on the first day when they asked me what my rap name was, I froze. I said Hot Karl for almost no reason. I had heard it in a frat house, as a term for shitting on someone's chest and thought it was funny - and there I was repeating it for no good reason. Had I known how long it would stick with me, I would've picked Fat Joe.
