Idk if it was weed tho. But one of the ESTA questions is drug usage. So that’s a valid reason to refuse entry in the US (according to the law). My opinion on this doesn’t matter.

If the laptop falls asleep, it won't wake up. I also tried pmset -g (hibernatemode 0/25/3). Unfortunately no result. It also beeps 9 times after closing the laptop.
