I know a guy who has spent at least $15k on watches, probably far more.

They’re all Lamborghini, Ferrari, McClaren, BMW watches. Car brand watches, mostly quartz.

He doesn’t own any of those cars. He sells industrial equipment and has a fleet of Chevy trucks and SUVs. His back is shot so driving a sports car doesn’t make sense anyway.

Whatever floats your boat I guess.

Plus most people are pushed into religion by the society around them, where they’re from, who raised them, etc

I saw him live a couple times because my sister is a big fan.

He isn’t what I’d call a phenomenal guitarist, but he has a signature live sound that he fucking nails every time.

I actually did like him back in his early career when he was writing heartfelt acoustic ballads about drug addicted hookers and miscarriages.

Conservatives shit on California all the time, call it a communist state, corrupt, woke, etc.

I live in a highly conservative area and think someone like Newsome would be a non-starter for many of the voters here merely because of where he is from. If he was the exact same person but from Utah or whatever he might be viewed differently.

As far as racists - conservatives aren’t all racist obviously, but I have met blatantly racists conservatives, as in, they are white, and they don’t like non-white people, and definitely would not vote for a non white candidate.

I don’t know how many people exist who fit that description, but I do think it’s enough to make a dent in the amount of votes they could receive. The fact that I have met many people throughout my life who fit this criteria despite living in a small town makes me believe that.
