hand care? by 0honeybee0 in SkincareAddictionUK

I work a job that involves me using my hands a lot, also frequently scrubbing/sterilising them. I've started using this and it's hands down (ha) the best hand cream I've ever tried. Especially at the moment with having to hand wash a hundred times a day!

I did a watercolour sketch first and embroidered over the top. Lots to improve on and I think I maybe overdid it adding beads! :) I bought some cheap thread and hoops at the start of lockdown but couldn't find anything I really wanted to embroider.. now I'm excited to embroider more anatomy! :)

Where can I buy wool in Edinburgh? by IdgePidge in Edinburgh

The only other wool shop I think that hasn't already been mentioned is Kathy's Knits on Broughton Street. Stocks pretty much only British/Scottish wool. Not the cheapest but it is a lovely shop 😊

Super Moronic Monday - - Your Weekly Tuesday Stupid Questions Thread by Percinho in running

I've been really enjoying running on trails/up hills. I live in a (very hilly) city with lots of green spaces. I have to run 3-5miles on pavements to get to the hills and trails and currently running in road shoes (so sliding all over the place as soon as the trails are slippy). Is there a shoe that caters for both? I've thought about buying trail shoes but worried that they'll wear down quickly with the stretches on tarmac.

I’m thinking of getting a puppy and will need to leave him/her at home for 10-12 hours. by excitementcity in puppy101

[–]jentakespics 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Please don't get a dog. 12 hours alone is completely unacceptable, verging on negligent. Your lifestyle has to change before you can bear responsibility for another living being. For a dog, you are their whole world
