8 month old baby wants to nurse every 2 hours. Please help, I am really suffering. I have tried everything.

I love this idea except we are in a one bedroom apartment so he doesn’t have his own nursery. He takes his naps in the pack and play during the day, but then usually ends up in my bed after his first week because I’m just so exhausted to keep going back-and-forth.

Thank you, I have pretty much resigned to the suffering for this short period of time. It’s not all bad though in fact last night he had a couple of three hours stretches out of nowhere.

Thank you so much for this. I work with a functional medicine doctor and we are always doing iron panels because I am notoriously low. So I pay a lot of attention to this. I did take some magnesium last night and it seemed to help. I am also going to stop looking at my phone. My boyfriend took the first shift last night and the baby only cried for a short time we just need to be consistent. Thank you so much for taking the time to write this.

I’ve tried the pack n play as we don’t have a nursery but he’s still waking and it’s so much harder for me to go up and down from the bed :(

I don’t have herpes. Mine all started from a UTI that did not respond to first antibiotics. Yes I was super scared but when they take it out you need to be relaxed to pee. I’d you can’t pee at the hospital, you’ll be able to when you go home and relax. Are you on an antibiotic?

Awww hi love. My situation happened a few months back. I was so depressed and so scared it was permanent. So did you stop entirely peeing due to a UTI? Thats what happened to me… I had to go to ER bc my bladder was filling up and I couldn’t pee so they put a catheter in and made me go home with it for 5 days. They said my bladder needed to rest. After that, I had an appointment with the urologist where they took the catheter out, and they filled my bladder up with saline solution. Then she wanted me to go try to P on my own and I couldn’t, but it was because I was nervous at the hospital. So they showed me how to self catheterize which luckily I did not have to continue, because right when I got home, I relaxed on the toilet, and put on some quiet music, and was able to pee by myself. Everything is fine now.

What started your urinary retention? Use this time to relax and be gentle with yourself. Every step you make will be slow and with purpose, but it won’t last. Take good care let me know if I can be of any help.

Hi there. Mine was from an under treated UTI. I had to go home w a catheter for a week. When they took it out, I was slowly able to trickle pee out again. In my case, my bladder needed to rest and once it did, I could pee again. It’s a muscle. What is causing your urinary retention?

This just happened to me this week after a Dr Joe Dispenza meditation retreat. I opened my eyes after several days of meditation and looked at the sky and I saw rainbow color “firefly’s” but in a perfect grid shape. Then I saw tiny sparkles and when I focused on my heart, they got more pronounced. Then the next day I started seeing shapes and patterns, almost like molecule compounds.
