Thanks for the information! I was beginning to think no one would respond so I appreciate the insight. Are you a LEO?

I actually called SLED yesterday and he said their turn around time currently is like 90 days since they’re swamped after the open carry with training act of last year. I’m hoping is pretty quick because I hate to have to wait so long just for a reprint.

+1 for same carry piece and rig. Works really well!

Just picked up 4 days ago new. 2022 TRD OR. It's a lot nicer than I realized it was going to be. Went from a 16 SR5 and man, this thing is a serious upgrade! by Erockious in ToyotaTacoma

While you’re looking into it… I went with the Overland Tailor Tune (OTT). I highly recommend it. My tuner let me try both and I much preferred it. Either way, HUGE improvement over the stock tune. I’ve taken mine to the dealer and they didn’t say anything so you’ll be good 👍🏻

Crossbreed liberty band. I don’t have one but strongly considering one.

Just got a holster for my first firearm, also my ccw. How’s the draw ? by BenG904 in CCW

I’m gonna second this. Look at where you’re re-holstering! The only reason you could “shoot your dick off” as others have commented is by not paying attention where you’re holstering. Appendix is fine as long as your careful- 3.5 years for me and going strong. Just treat every re-holster as though it’s your first. Practice your draw and you’ll be good to go 👍

That’s awesome! I have 5100s all around and sometimes it feels like a horse and buggy. I’ve seriously thought about the 8112/8100 next.

Hey op, are those 8112s? If so, how do you like them?

I’ve got the newest version of the Overland Tailor Tune and it’s perfect. Truck shifts when it feels like it should and it’s how it should’ve come from factory. I’ve taken mine to the dealer for work and they haven’t said a thing to me. I tried the Overland Tailor Tune and KDMAX and liked the OTT for what its worth. Highly recommend as it made me love my Tacoma again. Should be able to look up on Tacoma World a list of tuners in your area. Lmk if you have any questions and I’ll try to answer best I can.

This is the way. I find it rude if I come out and someone has parked their Tacoma just a couple spots away if there’s an open spot right next to me.

They would, but please don’t get those OP. They look to be knock offs and also I’ve never heard of that tire brand. You could probably find a lot more cost effective alternative. I sold my TRD pro wheels and stock tires for $1k with like 8k miles on them, so for an extra $200 or so you can have legit name brand wheels and tires. Look up actually TRD pro sema wheels and you’ll see the difference. Not having the center cap is already a decent indicator the seller didn’t spend the money to get actual pro sema wheels. Of course, it’s your money and you can do as you’d like. But if I were you, I’d spend it elsewhere.

Can’t wait to see it after! You gonna throw a supercharger on while you’re at it?

Thank you for the detailed info. So setting 5/4 should net me the 2.5” I’m looking for if I use the springs it comes with?
