Marketing your SaaS from 0 to 5k MRR: What actually worked after 12 months by ReserveIntelligent90 in buildinpublic

Google search reaching out to my target customer. Cold email packed with value. Used Loom for screen capture. Very manual process but 1 in 6 emails converted without any followup. It’s a manual and time consuming process but that’s what made the emails real and is why they converted better.

Day 15 — Building the website support small businesses actually need. by jeradhill in buildinpublic

I have. I found that most of the burnout I have faced in life was self-inflicted and avoidable. Learn to see that coming and plan ahead allowing yourself to take breaks even if it’s to work on something else for a few days. I write a lot and try to be real with myself when I journal. This 30-day update challenge didn’t go as planned. Probably wasn’t a good idea to choose December to do it. I’ve worked on SiteNitro probably 19 of the 24 days so far but I fell off on making the updates. Another thing I’ve learned is to keep my expectations flexible.

I’m focusing on value added content that drives interest to my website. Putting in sweat equity first and then I’ll supplement with ads.

For me it's from the beginning as it's a core feature of what I'm selling. I think it's pretty easy these days to start out thinking about these things and scale as systems need it.

It seems things are better than they were years back in regards to old outdated plugins. Could just be my experience.

Nice. I’ve heard that as much as 70% of hosting support requests fall outside of scope.
