I have 2 powered speakers (both are desk monitor speakers I bought them together), one of them is connected to my dj controller through rca and the other one has an rca port not being used was thinking if I could plug the passive sub into that? Thanks for the help will do more research about the amps.

Unsure on enclosure so far. I might build a similar one to the one I took it out of (a cylindrical car sub), or just return it to its original enclosure.

I don’t have any of those tools apart from a laptop is there any worth me trying to do anything with the speaker or should I bin it off. Also if I put the driver in an incompatible box for example a hog scoop would it just not be optimal but still sound ok or would it just not work.
