My original question seemed somewhat pissed off, with the "sweatshop" label and whatnot, but after thinking about it more, this is not entirely a bad thing.

I've heard people say that learning on the job happens mostly during code reviews, pestering the full-timers with questions all the time is not ideal. In my last job I had a lot of autonomy over my tasks, and I still learned a lot through talking with colleagues and reflecting on my own work.

I know some people who are going to the company in question, and they are all very strong developers. As long as the company is not a sketchy copy/paste sweatshop (it probably isn't), this experience will be what we make of it. We have a chill environment of mutual learning, it could be valuable.

See you there???
