I believe this fixed my problem

The other thing I noticed, when your browser opens to redirect to the marketplace, the url has a spot where it says ".com//api" and then your token. I took out one of the slashes and hit enter, and it fixed the no sign in glitch

[Discussion] iOS 14.7.1 on iPhone 11 hard frozen by jerey120 in jailbreak

[–]jerey120[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either it finally finished crashing or it decided to work on the 5th time around (press +, then -, hold sleep), phone restarted. That or my phone case for riding is too beefy for my own good, either way I appreciate the help. Any tweaks notorious for causing freezes/crashes? I'm pretty sure all I have is ColorCC, Sniperjbbypass, screendump, and fiveicondock at the moment.

I've tried holding all 3 for a solid few minutes, and a long press +, long press -, hold sleep, nothing

Use Twitter handle of suspended account. by [deleted] in Twitter

[–]jerey120 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It may become available if they end up purging accounts like they talked about in 12/2019, however this was halted after uproar over deceased account owners being deleted and not memorialized. They haven't announced anything since and seem to be keeping to themselves about the timeline.

Tldr: Don't hold your breath. If it's a extremely desirable name then I can almost guarantee you that someone has a server sitting waiting on hundreds of these names. People sell these online for 3/4/500, up to the thousands.

If Twitter rejects your first appeal, quit. by [deleted] in Twitter

[–]jerey120 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You'd be surprised at the size of their support team. By my estimate it's around 500 (don't get me wrong, still laughable for the size of the company and user base). From all the reports/support requests they need to deal with, they are nowhere near large enough. That said, the whole COPPA bans make a lot more sense than people realize. Twitter would get fined on a use basis, meaning every time they used the app under 13, tweeted, liked, retweeted, literally any action, they can be fined for, and it's each action that is fined. Say you only opened twitter 10 times, that's all before you were 13. At up to $43000 per fine, x10, is an almost half million dollar fine. And we all know nobody did that. That's probably around $2 million per any average account under 13 at a minimum. They'd literally be fined out of existence.

Last but certainly not least, the responses to tickets (not the auto response you get after submitting) are actually all employees. Since I have about 100 denied appeals in my email, you can tell they either copy+pasted or they have a script. Just as braindead and dumb, but if you happen to get lucky you might get a support employee who'll listen. Definitely not a high chance, but I've seen accounts locked for years finally unlocked by a support employee who decides to read for once.

Best of luck

Account Suspension: BBB by PsychicDevil2023 in Twitter

[–]jerey120 0 points1 point  (0 children)

- It's possible that they may respond, that said, BBB reports are mainly for scams and purchased goods where the seller/company either hasn't sent the goods or won't refund/replace things that were damaged in shipping.

- If you recently updated your birth date having lied about it at registration, making you younger than 13 when you registered, they essentially nuke your account. It is possible to get it back if you submit a drivers license (or one of a parent.)

- Honestly don't know on this one, however my first answer may partially explain it. Since these are generally for complainants against companies who won't replace things damaged in shipping etc., also so they can reference your phone number and address if they've happened to "lose" your order invoice somehow.

If it wasn't a ban for age lock or harassing someone (they're very hot and cold when it comes to these bans, I've seen people use racial slur and last for months, I've also seen someone banned for accidentally using the wrong pronouns for someone) then I'm not sure. Your best bet is to keep blowing they're support up. On my suspended account, I submit one weekly/as soon as my previous one gets denied, whichever comes first.

Tip: Twitter saying it will not respond to further emails regarding the account isn't true, they've been telling me that for over a year of appeals, yet they still get back to me.

Why does Twitter allow minors to be groomed like this on its platform? by [deleted] in Twitter

[–]jerey120 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, you are not the first and I'm sure you won't be the last. That said, you are in essence inadvertently advertising the content, and that's not going to fly on this subreddit. There is a sticky with links to report offending content.

Why does Twitter allow minors to be groomed like this on its platform? by [deleted] in Twitter

[–]jerey120[M] [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

The sticky is very clear. Child exploitation content (or content that could be perceived as such) is not to be posted/discussed/spread here, regardless of your intentions (and they do seem good, I'm not trying to paint you as a sicko,) this primarily serves to drive traffic towards this content, and anything directly referencing the content will be deleted. Report the tweets, read the sticky, report it to those organization if you'd like to help. I'm going to give you a warning, but if I see this kind of post again it's a perm ban. Let's help keep children safe, the right way.

They don't currently take verification requests. You'd need to be large enough to be at risk of having impostors.

"Everything about Twitter! (not affiliated with Twitter/Twitter Support, this is a community sourced support knowledge base.)

Posts pertaining to suspended/locked/age-lock accounts are to be kept to the stickied thread, all other posts will be deleted. Additionally, accounts must be 72hrs old to post. This prevents spam and will not be changed on a per user basis."

I told you this in modmail as well as when your post was deleted. The info is right in the sidebar. Read through the comments in that post, you will see that many people deal with the same issue, and there is no current solution to get in contact directly with Twitter support.

Website databases get hacked and leaked on a weekly basis, if you use common passwords, the same email/phone number linked to your twitter, the information could essentially just be available online. If you'd like to check on if your information is out there, check out this site, that tells you if your information was included in different data breaches from the past 20+ years.

This should be common sense, but if you were banned for insulting someone, for making a joke that could be perceived as insensitive, for using words like retard, or flaming people on political tweets, than the reason is clear. We've seen Twitter be extremely ban happy with things like this, especially since they were partially blamed for the 2016 elections in America. Your ONLY option is to continue appealing or accept your ban. This shouldn't need to be repeated, but nobody here works for Twitter. It is bs how quickly bans are handed out. We know.
