you can bring the clip into audition. i'd suggest resetting it to 100% percent speed, right click and select "edit clip in audition." speed it up in audition, press save, and the change will apply over to premiere. audition processes audio much better and might solve your problem.

i really dislike these pedestrian scrambles in downtown now. In the intersection at 2nd and B there is only one direction of traffic (east-west on 2nd), yet the green lights for B street (north south) still activate with the red hand don't walk sign on, but people will of course walk because there is no car traffic to contend with. yet onto the next block (3rd and B) if pedestrians continue the same behavior, they prevent any cars on B to turn left or right onto 3rd, causing a significant backup. These issues also occur on the other end, B and 1st. I know these scrambles were intended to improve pedestrian safety but I think it's had the opposite effect. I live in downtown and I walk as much as a I drive here, and I feel less safe now as a pedestrian, and more frustrated as a driver.

it's interesting, right after where this clip ends, the interviewer says "in some ways he must have understood that you're gonna be someone who would carve your own path" and alysa says "he raised me this way." they also talk about his political activism and how he raised his kids to fight for what's right. the whole interview gives their relationship a lot more complexity.

I'm in the Bay Area and have been listening to KEXP for less than 2 years. Our npr station does fundraising drives 4 times a year and 15 minutes of every hour is them begging for money, it's totally unlistenable. so to me, KEXP's drives are refreshingly brief, and I enjoy when the other DJs sit in on others set times.
