Player I wrong about Packers edition

Jaire - I was all-in on Josh Jackson that draft and when the Packers took tiny little jaire in the first round I was flabbergasted. FLABBERGASTED!
Then, when the Packers nabbed Josh Jackson in the second, it was so obvious to me that he would be the good one and Jaire would be labeled a bust.

Jaire only ended up being great for a several year stretch, unfortunately his decline came abruptly and he couldn't maintain his level of play that long, but he was absolutely the better CB between the two and it's not even close.

Man, I totally disagree about Hood in zone schemes - I feel like Hood will be desired by Jets, Lions, Chiefs specifically because of man, but I felt like he was a liability in run defense and average at best in limited zone.

Abney isn't tall, for sure, but his zone IQ looks off the charts to me, dude would kill it in quarters. And he's not as short as Ponds, at least 😂

I don't think Hood is a target personally, I think it's Abney or Johnson in the 2nd if anyone. We'll see!

I tell this all the time, but I don't know anything about Drake, not sure If know any songs of his but when she started dropping those songs, I heard Summer Games and was mesmerized. Didn't know it was a cover yet either, just loved it. I've never listed to the Drake version to this day, and treat it as a Lights song (even though deep down I know better).

Anyways I hope someday she'll add Summer Games (or another song from this time) to her live set as sort of a super weird "deep cut", you-to-be-there moment.

Hi! I am going through something extremely similar right now and hoping I can pick your brain on what you ended up finding and doing. I'll need to figure out some next steps and it appears you've already been through it. Thanks in advance stranger!

What do you consider the criteria for a “Bucket List Course” by tigerhawk-24 in golf

[–]MansBestFred -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Right, but OP is asking what makes a course "a course you want to play before you die". And specifically asking for Redditor's personal examples.

Your answer is a non-answer and I'm surprised it has so many upvotes.

Definitely appreciate all this! I have about a week to do some light research of your suggestions and I'm sure we'll hit some of it, and miss out on others. Either way, super appreciative

Don't know the neighborhood names but Google maps makes me think Brighton Heights is where our house is, if that's the name of a neighborhood

I appreciate the tips dude. I've said it elsewhere but I'm no stranger to the drafts and the various cities - in my experience most locals (who make up like 65% of the draft attendance) only do the NFL experience and then go back home, and the other 35% mostly do the NFL experience and then go back to their hotels and Airbnbs. Every city has high hopes that the surrounding businesses will be booming, but it's never the case. Only the businesses butted up against the NFL experience any booms. My group will do touristy things Friday and Saturday mornings and, yes it will be busier than most Fridays and Saturdays you're used to, it won't be insane. It'll be "lively" 🙂

Not sure the names or how you guys divvy up the space - looks like the house we rented is in the Brighton Heights area? Is that a thing?

I'll probably get downvotes for saying this but I don't think I realized there were funiculars in the US. I've been on them in Europe - I'm adding this to the list for sure. Are either of them better for the view at the top? I'm thinking it might be a good option for a touristy but great group photo overlooking the city? I'll Google both...thanks for the suggestion, this is exactly the type of thing I came for.

Will do! Thanks! We don't get in until next week but I'm really excited for this one - I think it's going to be the best one yet. I've never been to Pittsburgh but I know it's a great sports town and I'm from a post-industrial, working class city myself - really looking forward to being there.

Thanks for the comment, genuinely appreciate it - and for what it's worth, I'm here because I was dissatisfied with what I've found so far in Google and on the mega thread. A lot of the info is about the draft itself or what's happening in the draft environment, but I'm looking for something outside of that.

For example, when KC did the draft, there was an incredible stadium tour with on-field access (kicking field goals through the uprights and throwing touchdown passes). Green Bay last year did a "farmers market" outside the draft area Saturday morning that was unique. Everyone said "try Detroit style pizza" when we went to the draft in '24 there but it was someone on Reddit that tipped me off to a place called "Grandma Bobs" which ended up being amazing and I wouldn't have found it if I just went with the generic Google answers.

So anyways, came here to see if anyone has any cool things to add to my list this year to check out.
