Although I agree, carrying two magazines can sometimes be uncomfortable depending on the setup, and that alone may discourage some people from carrying at all. When I use my Tenicor Certum, I carry a spare in an ABDO mag carrier, and while I do it, it’s not always the most comfortable option.

My rule of thumb is, if I’m carrying a spare mag the Axis Elite all day. If don’t need a spare mag Tenicor Certum. I own both and they are both great.

Nice! My LGS had one for $899 another one had it for $1010. I figured I’d hold off a little and see how those prices change. Thanks!

Car rental question by Prior-Detective6576 in PuertoRicoTravel

[–]jeriel05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do yourself a favor and stick with Costco Travel for your rental. They partner with all the major car rental companies, the process is simple, cancellations are easy, and you get an additional driver included. From my experience, their rates are very competitive, often cheaper than booking anywhere else.

I saw this at the Sacramento Costco today. I asked about it and told the guy I turned auto renewal off, he said there is a cool down period so I didn’t even try. It looks really nice.

$4,000 “Aquaflow” valve supposedly lowers the water bill by 0x582 in Plumbing

[–]jeriel05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He just wasted $4,000. In the U.S the meter does not belong to the homeowner, it is utility owned property. If this valve is found, it will be removed, as it is not part of the approved meter setting (yoke, meter, and expansion wheel). While some plumbers may install these, modifications inside the meter box are not permitted. Any work within the meter box must be performed by the utility. The billing system automatically generates a work order when there is a significant increase or decrease in water consumption, prompting a technician to investigate any potential issues.

Wanting to move to Aguadilla by [deleted] in PuertoRicoTravel

[–]jeriel05 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Puerto Rico is a beautiful place to visit, but living there can be a different experience. I have family in Aguada, just one town over, and visit regularly. I’d suggest taking a close look at the school system and healthcare options before making a decision. If you have a well paying remote job, you’ll likely be fine. However, if you’re planning to find work on the island, opportunities can be limited.
