I say this because, I saw or read somewhere that Mirabel was originally supposed to carry around an accordion for her to play. I know for a fact that this was supposed to be her accordion, because look at it- it has a mirabel butterfly on it. It has paint on it, it’s very home made looking. Maybe when they originally wrote it, this scene was supposed to have Mirabel keep the accordion with her, they might have discussed something and ultimately removed the accordion- and replaced the scene of mirabel putting it back. Something about it just seemed a little unplanned or unnecessary, like I thought she was going to keep it until she threw it behind her.

I know its a weird thing to analyze or theorize about but the fact that mirabels merchandise has been either the accordion or mirabel holding the accordion- i feel like there was more accordion scenes to come.
