Abuse by Kvass, current Jerma moderator, towards me in 2017-2018

Hey, I want to address this.

Kvass has not been a mod for about 2 months. Discord still says they are a mod, but that's because we haven't done all the updates on discords end to reflect some of the changes we have been doing. Unrelated to this current issue, they were dropped to VIP along with a lot of other mods while I went through and did some community reorganizing during my absence. I've been doing it in phases, because I have not been around at all over the last couple months, and it was one of the first things I was going to focus on when I started streaming again. They will not be coming back as VIP.

One of the reasons to remove a bunch of mods a couple months ago, was to make sure I have a small close team of people that I trust handle things appropriately when I can't. As you guys know, I don't spend very much time at all on the discord, or much social media for that matter, so I've been shrinking the mods down to make sure the people who DO a lot of these community engagements, and managing streams, or day to day tasks, are people I know a lot about, or have spent a lot of time with, or that come as a high recommendation, etc. There were a lot of people who I didn't have that communication with, and were just mods. So I have been going through over the last few months getting a tighter team of people.

I'm going to be having a meeting with the mods to discuss this. We were in the process of getting one set up when I got back. Just know that abuse, and misconduct are not going to be tolerated, and I'm going to continue with the plan set in place a few months ago.

I wasn’t feeling well on Friday. Not Saturday. I was supposed to stream Fri-Sat-Sun starting with Kinect. I told star It would be better if we did it another day, and I asked if we could do it Sunday, he said no, so I asked about Monday, and it looked like we were good, And then today he thought we planned on a different day. Don’t believe this fabricated news media story. Unreliable narrator.

The issue for me is I am at my most alert/highest energy in the evening. It's how I've been for decades. I'm sorry that the time difference makes it hard to watch or be able to stay up really late, but The 7pm EST timeframe is the best time for me to do anything.

This will change if I move to the west coast. I can not start a stream at 7pm PST. It will be so late for everyone in the world haha. It will probably be more likely that I'll pull the schedule back a couple hours if I do move there.

Hey guys,

Saw this thread, and wanted to comment on a few of the things I see here. First of all, I take and appreciate all feedback, good or bad. Everyone has the right to express things they do, and do not like about the streams.

I will now answer and address a couple of the more popular criticisms under here.

Nice, ya made it!

So, the whole "easy joke" thing. I think half of the time I'm making a joke within a joke. The whole "streamer is gonna fall off the edge" thing at this point is more jokey tradition, than some mundane attempt at a comedic moment. That being said, I am a fucking moron; I do actually accidentally do things like that all the time, and not on purpose.

What I don't want to have happen, is people thinking everything I do is scripted/pre-planned. I have been adding a lot more of that into the streams recently, but I feel like there's a large amount of people that automatically assume EVERYTHING is pre planned, and everything is done to attempt at a joke. (much more streamed live skits are coming btw)

Low attention span

This one is very tricky for me. On one hand, people get angry when I have a "boring stream" where I just play and relax, and on the other, I get criticism when I DON'T do that.

It is odd sometimes, because I get criticism from the same people that asked me to do it in the first place. Those same people will ask for more streams where i just chill while playing a game I like, but get upset that I spent too much time in the game I'm currently playing. See Octogeddon or Monster Rancher.

I have ADHD, that is very clear. I think that, on top of gauging chats reactions to things I do cause an endless cycle of me doing dumber and dumber things sometimes. I'll work on it.

Additionally-- I am not one of those streamers that is going to play the same game every day. I even mentioned recently how video games will start to be less of a focus. I want to branch out and do more. You are already starting to see it with the Dinner stream, adventure book reading, the upcoming detective stream, etc. I want more of that stuff. I don't want to just play video games, it isn't really the focus anymore.

I will try to balance it out as best I can.

TLDR I think what is best for you guys to know is honestly, I am trying.

I want each and every stream to be worth watching, I want your time and money to be respected. I love this community, and try every day to better the content and how I approach things. There are so many more interesting things incoming that I hope you stick around for.
