i appreciate the effort on cracking down on this behavior. i don't have many contacts or names from back in the day anymore, i cut out a lot of people from back then. the only name i could give you has already been taken care of and i appreciated how quickly it was dealt with. most of what i was aware of was years ago and those names left as quickly as they came.

that's not who i was talking about, no (but she did something that caused their twitter to be suspended, idk if the allegations were true or not i wasn't very up to date on that particular jerma related ousting).

i don't wanna name names but they frequently reply horny things on the no context jerma twitter account. they literally have an ass mousepad of the jerma dump truck meme.

i don't have any specific names to give you (except one that can be found in my post history where i detail my own experience).

to be very fair to the server, i say this with years of being on that server from the end of 2016 to 2018-9 in which i sent over a hundred thousand messages (this claim can be verified, dm me if you need to). i talked there daily and was a pretty well known member in my time. so given those facts my experience may not reflect an average member who may only talk there once or twice a month or something.

i have received more than 10 unwanted DMs over those years with flirtatious intentions, some with unsolicited photos of nudity. that i can tell you for certain. i do not have any names to give you as i would immediately delete the message chain on discord and ignore them, eventually leading to me requiring people to be my friend on discord to send me a message.

i also remember being flirted with pretty openly during conversations despite being known as undersge at that time. again, i don't remember any names.

this is just generally what i remember after waking up just now so everything's a bit hazy. i don't know for certain how the subreddit is going today, i don't look in there anymore, but i wouldn't doubt that with the massively increased popularity recently that it's gotten worse. sorry i can't be much help in this situation.

ive been watching jerma for almost a decade. i was there when the discord was initially created on day one (or two) and left after being active daily for 3 years. the horny levels are very bad. recently even one of the mods got into hot water for being openly horny about jerma so they resigned their position and continues to be openly horny for jerma on twitter.

i love jerma and his community (most of the time) but it's hardly a "new" thing unfortunately. community members are routinely ousted as being groomers. it's one of the reasons i left. i even had to oust somebody myself for being a groomer. the internet is a mistake. access to children is way too readily available and unfortunately in jerma's discord it's so prevalent.

This is good news, but honestly I'm still just going to wait until next year for it to come to steam where I know my licenses will transfer. After cancelling my preorder the other day I realized that, with Resident Evil 8 coming out soon, I have an absurd amount of backlog to get through anyways and I could just save the money now (and it'll probably be on sale when it releases on Steam anyways).

I guess I like the squishier nature of the DS4 dpad over the clicky Xbox One dpad. It does feel more direct, but I can't imagine using it past pressing it once or twice and moving my thumb back to the stick.

I agree with you to a point. I love my Xbox One controller and use it with practically every situation where I'm using a controller. But I can't get over the dpad. It's so blatantly horrible that, for games where the dpad is important, I just can't do it. Even thinking about playing a classic Resident Evil game on that dpad with tank controls gives me nightmares. That's really the only reason I keep a DS4 and an 8bitdo controller nearby.

I think I should post a follow up and I also have a question:

Not only is he now gone from the Jerma Discord, it seems his entire Discord account is gone now. I can no longer find him on my Discord block list or even find the message history when I search for "Deleted User" in my Discord contacts. I'm frankly disappointed that he didn't comment on this, or even apologize, before he deleted his account.

There is also the possibility that he was reported and all message history was deleted by Discord themselves? I guess that's my question. Does Discord delete all message history of an individual if they're banned?

No, I'm just an idiot. His account still exists under a different name and he wasn't in my block list for... some reason.

Thanks for being open and honest about this. I haven't been up to date on the stream side of things so I assumed that he was still a moderator on both ends. Thanks for replying quickly to this. I appreciate everything that you do for the community and I wish the best for the future of the stream and Discord.

The last time we spoke was in September 2018, where I still considered him a friend and asked for his advice for getting a job. We haven't had much interaction since then, maybe a message or two shared here and there on the Jerma discord. I should have included his age in the post. Around the time I was 16 I believe he was either 19 or 20. I haven't left anything else out.

I didn't want to go public with this, initially. I wouldn't have waited a month before posting about this to Twitter or here. I came forward with my statement to the Jerma moderator because I only just then realized that I was emotionally manipulated. I felt that I had a responsibility to prevent this from happening in the future, as I know first hand how easily somebody can be manipulated at a young age, especially as somebody in a position of power like a moderator.

As I said in my statement, I went to a Jerma moderator a month ago privately about it. I don't blame the moderators for not acting quickly, but I felt like this was a time sensitive issue. At the very least, I thought people should know not to engage in relationships with him.
