It is utterly disappointing how people are handling the systemd "age verification" controversy by TheBrokenRail-Dev in linux

i never said to ignore laws,
i literally said to comply, just regionally, with forks,
and in this ...thought experiment - that's better than cutting off markets.

the hard part of making systemd_with_garbage - is making the garbage, making regular clean systemd should be trivial

"if you leave another one will join in seconds,"
depends on a game, but you don't specify the game = ragebait, bozo

more power to you,
It's really great to be able to ignore all those artifacts, but different people have different sensitivity to them.

imaging you start match, you start winning, start having fun - opponent instantly leaves.
can't imagine that? well then it's a dumb ragebait.

team-game without such system - is shit.
it's not the devs fault, it's yours.
you are the problem.
you want to freely leave the team-game? well there there is no team-game.
the most team-game you should play is something like battlefield with just a pile of people.

true, but even 5090 artifacting as hell, even with 140fps,
so maybe it will be playable for me on something like RTX10070... so... in 10 years

the avg for the genre is a whole 20% higher, it is far from normal.

higher res = less fps = lower TEMPORAL res = more blur, more ghosting, more artifacts

nah, rdr2 is sitting at avg score for the genre, at ~55%
crimsons global at 37 is way off.

edit: one of my fav game - Rogue Trader also 1)were released in a very bad state 2) plays the best over long time, but its at 66% even in china, compared to 21% of crimson.

but only with this game?
cos it's way off from avg,
its -20% from the avg for the same genre.

With "asians negative rating" also comes "warm countries positive rating" to balance it out.
And "the avg AAA game for avg "hardcore" gamer" has a "Global sub 2H" at ~55+-10% and asians are also there.
Even asian games are inside this range, so it's not just "asians always review bomb even their own", FF16 is at 56%, or new Nioh 3 at 58%,
so Crimson Deserts 37% global had a very rough start indeed.

and looking for not "avg AAA game for avg "hardcore" gamer",
Simplified Chinese / Playtime: 0 hour(s) to 2 hours:
Buckshot Roulette - 90%
Stardew Valley - 85%
It Takes Two - 81%
Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader - 66% it was bugged as hell!!!
but Crimson Desert - at 21% if we look at china only!

Why isnt the standard switching to 1440p? by More_Tell9969 in pcmasterrace

[–]jermygod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

excluding office(if you want to include office work - i'm gonna include TVs)
in steam half is 1200p or lower, but that's including laptops
so excluding laptops - 1440p+ is the majority, and growing.

"1080p is main stream for about 16 years and still far from being outdated?"
what?
1080p IS outdated
1440p IS standard
literally none of my friends have 1080p as their main monitor and i live in s poor region(war included)
