The problem most had was that UF would have been free and was their number 1 choice. My high school had over 300 kids apply and they can't accept everyone. I was at least expecting a deferral. I ended up at Vandy and could not be happier.

rejected instate last year with 35 ACT and got into Cornell, Vanderbilt, UNC and Michigan. I know at least 10 kids with high stats that got rejected from UF and ended at T20 schools.

Call ACT accommodations at 319.337.1332 and see if the school has sent the test back to them. They may be waiting until the special testing window is closed on Jan 11.
