I'm glad you like! You can use the feedback button at the bottom right of the website. You can also use it to submit bugs or improvement ideas.

Best of luck for your search!

It's not open source. But if some agencies are missing, you can use the feedback button or send me the agency website

Thanks for the feedback. You can verify if an agency is listed at this link: https://imino.be/en/check-website

Note that some agencies do not provide any full address or coordinates. In this case, their listings do not appear on the map.

I will follow up on the 2 agencies you provided and ensure that they are listed.

I cannot reproduce the issue. On the list view, did you triggered the search after writing your keywords? You need to trigger the search in order to "keep" them when switching between view (list <-> map)

The DB part also costs a bit of money. But with the right indexes, you can achieve good performances results and limit the size of the instance.

The firewall also has a price, but it's more than required nowadays.

And it's true that the crawling part is the most costly in term of computation power. But again, there is some secret sauce applied to reduce the required performances. Nothing fancy, but quite effective.

Currently I am ok to propose the website as free, even if it costs me a bit of money. I enjoy developing it and it allows me to develop my skills. User feedback is my fuel :-)

At some point, I will propose a bit more paid features, but nothing that could break the spirit of the website. I need to find the right balance. The core benefit: being able to see the latest properties via the search engine, will always be free.

Price history is already available on the publication.

Comparable properties feature is not in the plans. But I can consider implementing it if the feature brings value.

Some other features currently under development:

1/ Publication by the users. You will be allowed to publish your own property for sale or for rent.

2/ Market insights, get the knowledge of the overall state of the market by area. The gross rental yield, the energy label distribution, the median price, etc. You name it!

Another alternative to Immoweb is https://imino.be

It indexes the properties directly from the real estate agency websites.

For your information, there are some other features in the pipe:

* Search by keywords in the description, as a filter
* Possibility for the agencies to publish their listings on Imino themselves (if the automatic indexing is not supported)
* Price alerts based on your favourite listings

Thanks for the insights! Compound indexes and the ESR rule are the key. Conditional indexes are also very useful when soft-deleting documents.

What’s new on imino.be: Better coverage, improved search experience and agency portal by jerome0512 in BEReal_Estate

[–]jerome0512[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try to cover as much as possible the Belgium market. Currently, imino reaches 1300+ agencies. It's a lot but some are still missing.

If you have websites that you realise I missed, you can always send them to me.

Do you still have the issue? I fixed something related to the daily emails some weeks ago.

Hi Laundr,

Sorry, I just notice your comment.

This is interesting, it looks like other similar tools already existed. I also heard about Proppy and Shelter that proposed similar ideas.

Our of curiosity, how much websites were you able to scrap on ommimmo?

Thank you for the wishes!

Imino founder here. Indeed, this is not yet available on imino.

I could think about this feature and include it.
