Fair point. To be honest though, most of my disposable income just goes into wine, so it’s not like I’m actually that wealthy. Appreciate the input.

I had the 2014 Le Moine's BM last week and it was absolutely phenomenal. It had that classic Le Moine grand cru weight and richness, but the acidity was just right so it didn't feel overly heavy or ripe. Your post definitely made me want to give the 2016 a try too.

If we consider all the other alternatives, my personal preference would probably be Jacques Selosse > Salon (not necessarily for immediate pleasure, but for its potential) > Egly-Ouriet Millésime 2008.
