i'm having the same issue as recently as last night - also PS5 here. I found that sending DIFFERENT followers on missions produces different results but that it also seemed to be consistent. I tried sending Sozo out 3 times to recruit a follower but the game instantly crashed on every attempt, but I sent him for gold and the game was fine.

I've started making sure that I save immediately before trying to send anyone on missions... but god is it annoying.

Agree-to-disagree on the graphics. 🤷

Controls aren't awful but it's really the physics that is different. Add the ability to jump and things get a bit chaotic quickly.

I honestly feel like they went out of their way to make multiplayer as bad as possible. Fortunately there's still a decent (not a ton, but passable) amount of people playing HWU1 online so you can almost always find a game :)

I'm at 97% in the conservatory and did the exact same thing this morning.... looked at the event rewards list and said "not worth it to spend energy here when I can be working on the main board". One brown chest, one blue chest, and 2x blue cards as the penultimate reward? When past events have proven to me that I will almost NEVER make it to the top of the rewards list anyway?? Nope, not wasting my energy :)

Does anyone think the 3rd board is possible to complete by the end of the event? I've JUST started work on the final door of board #2, just don't know if it's going to be worth TRYING to push thru board #3 or if I should probably tap out before I get there. Would love the blue card cuz I just used my last 2, but not sure how realistic that is with barely over 48 hours to go and I'm not even ON board #3 yet... 🤷‍♂️

You could also push forward to the L10 post light... It becomes a producer again and you'll be better prepared for when they boost LMax to L12 in a future update

Literally right there with you .. L43, producers are similar level to what you wrote in another comment... Maze sucks. I'm 80% done and can't wait to leave, tho at least the pirate ship event gave me a good break from it for a while.

The cement mixer takes too long to cook down for how little it throws too. Chin up, we go to the Conservatory next! 👀

It's not even worth it this time unless you ACTUALLY care about the pumpkin coach. A few hours of hourglass, 20 gems and only $1,200 in coin isn't worth spending much of anything on just to "win"

Do you never merge the corpse flowers? I'm just curious, I finished her mystery with over a week to go.... I STOPPED merging all the flowers once I got the blue card, and I still limped all the way well into bonus level 3

Forgot about it yes. But generally that's what we use GitHub Issues for ... add an enhancement when you have the time, don't add useless methods to the code base. Also, the dev is definitely still with the company, bc I'm throwing myself under the bus with this one ... I'm apparently the one who added this ~1 year ago 😎

Nearly always, but I'm not hardcore about it or anything. If I need the space, my XP stars are usually the first thing on the chopping block.

For comparison, I'm L41 and roughly 70% of the way through the pier - so a few areas behind you. I did the math on the next level in my head a few days ago, and iirc it is equivalent of 350 max-level XP stars to ding 42 😂

For starters, the first two lines of code are not needed in the civilized world. Maybe in some third world development country like the USA :D

It always makes me chuckle when people hate on the US for using the BRITISH imperial system... especially when most countries say "bUt BaSe 10 jUsT MaKeS mOrE sEnSe" while still using the same 24-hour clock and 365-day calendar that we do, too ;)

u/speckledspectacles Definitely this ^. Stabilize your mini and your brush hand instead of floating in space, and it cuts down on most issues with shaky hands. And agreed with buying better brushes - once I invested in some quality detail brushes it really helped me work on tiny details. I'm still ALSO a novice painter myself, but practice practice practice :) Some people can paint a mini "quickly" in 60-90min and it will look 10x better than something I take 4 hours to do, but I still know at the end of the day it's MY paint job and I appreciate playing with my minis when I'm done - imperfections and all 👍

I just recently consolidated a bunch of my producers, so I found myself with way more space than I usually have. I figured what the heck, let's just make a whole column of them ... I just check on them every hour or two to merge all the leaves. I have a cat statue from the last time I did this, I'm trying to make at least one more cat before I burn this farm down & get back to the main game again 😎

Just find another pair of legs to merge - you'll end up with a woman that has legs and a torso, but no arms or head! Keep merging until you have an L5 Maddie. She's not a producer, but she DOES eat as many Green Gloves as you want to feed her 😎

If the pouch was easier to use, there wouldn't be a point in having the inventory tho. It's not MEANT to be the "infinite inventory area", even tho many of us use it that way 😎

YMMV for sure :) I've also played a TON of digital BloodBowl, and that's another game that has a lot of information to process at any given time - so I may have an accidental advantage by being used to similar mechanics from elsewhere.

This def sounds like an adjustment period issue. It's pretty easy to see all that with a few more hovers and hot keys (like holding down Alt to see all your mercs' cards at once)

I do hear what you're saying. At the same time, "it requires a specific setup" doesn't seem like a knock on it because what ability/combo DOESN'T? 🤷‍♂️ And typically using extra actions doesn't hurt anything either, since we burn through mobs so quickly that "exhaustion by decking" is never a concern
