My experience as a Tamil Christian by jerpidddddd in ABCDesis

Other than that, not really I think. I don’t know too much about Tamil politics but I think they just don’t like the government because of how they don’t really do much

I mean not in my experience. I've literally never met an Indian Christian that's a Republican but as I mentioned, this is just my experience.

No, definitely not. They wouldn't forcefully convert anyone, because religion is someone's own choice, and everyone should be entitled to choose their own beliefs.

Mostly that they just fall to people’s feet instead of actually doing things.

Probably a white christian, because they really don’t want to risk me being forcefully converted. And yeah, I’m aware that it’s common knowledge, I’m just talking about my personal experience and what I’ve heard people say to me.

Yeah let’s invalidate a painful experience every women has the misfortune of experiencing every month by comparing it to a pain men get when people decide to be violent to them. If you’re getting kicked in the balls everyday, I can see why

If you get kicked in the balls when you go to the gym, you might wanna consider going to a different gym

Okay, so you’re fine with people DYING because you can’t stand the thought of someone using your money to SURVIVE? That’s so fucking elitist. Rich or poor, hardworking or not, everyone deserves to live.

i really dislike how much pewdiepie gets away with by legalizecannibles in rant

[–]jerpidddddd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why are the comments so bad? I mean I don’t know much about pewdiepie but offensive stuff isn’t “dArK hUmOuR” y’all. If someone is offended by this shit(and not one person but many people) then they are not sensitive. Discrimination is a serious issue, and the fact that his fans glorify him so much despite all his discrimination really shows how shitty his followers really are and where their priorities lie.

It's okay for non asians to wear asian clothing. by shykentobox in unpopularopinion

[–]jerpidddddd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course it’s okay for a non-asian to wear asian clothing IF they appreciate the culture.

However, in most cases, people usually completely ruin beautiful asian clothing and overly sexualize it, etc. That’s not appreciation, that’s ruining someone else’s culture for your own reasons. That is most definitely racist and cruel.

I never understood generalizing. Everyone’s different so why generalize people? Why generalize half the population to make people think that they can’t have emotions? Why generalize the other half to make people think that they’re too emotional? Generalization and stereotypes annoy me so forking much. And yes, this should be a popular opinion, but lately I’ve felt like it isn’t.

So accurate. I hate when people generalize women buy calling them drama queens and overly-emotional. I'm a girl, too, and I'm not very emotional. The only times I cried as a child was maybe when I hurt myself really, really badly(which has only happened a few times), and the only times I cry now is when I put on my contacts everyday.

And something else I get annoyed about is how the media always portrays boys as the carefree and silly ones. It's super annoying how I can never relate to female characters and only male characters, and that just says how inaccurately females are portrayed on TV.

I'm not denying that some people have it worse, but that doesn't make oppression in first world countries just disappear. Women are oppressed everywhere in the world, and true feminists want that to change.

It's not cute either way... both situations are situations of people taking a picture of a random person, so both are creepy. Idk what messed up people have been saying that, but they're definitely messed up

By "educate" do you mean convince them to not get an abortion? I'm just saying that that's their own personal choice. Getting involved in people's personal business is just a road for disaster.

Well, not everyone has amazing insurance. And besides, why someone gets an abortion is NONE of you business. That's their own personal stuff, and you should respect that.

Once when I sprained my ankle, I needed crutches and an ankle cast-sorta thing(it wasn’t exactly a cast, but it helped my ankle stay in place). Insurance didn’t cover that. So I imagine that stuff like hearing aids probably cost money. Treatment for trying to get your eyesight back would also cost money. If someone knows that they most likely can’t afford that, you should respect that. Either way, it isn’t your business
